Yep, I will tell you why, I have to stand by people all of the time flipping through their smart phone
pictures trying to show me pictures of their furniture and when they finally get the right picture
then it just disappears after waiting for them to find it for 10 minutes and I just tell them that
I would take that phone out in the parking lot and run it over...lol

You can turn sleep mode off.
