I've been hesitating to post this, but I guess this is a good time as it relates to your point.

I just found out last week that I have prostate cancer. I go in next week for a bone scan and CT scan to see if it has spread. I'm ashamed to say that I haven't handled it well at all; disappointed in how scared, pessimistic, and sad I've been. I've seen the stats.

Please pray.

My older brother was diagnosed when he was in his 50s. He’s now in his early 70s and going strong.

Alright guys, need an assist here. I’ve gotta get my work car fixed because I’m burning up my tires on my new Tacoma to the point that I’m gonna end up having to get another set next month. It’s a 2007 Aveo (I know you’re laughing thinking about a 6’5” dude driving that) and I’m having issues with something to do with the starter. I bought a new one and replaced it & all the car will do is white but not actually turn the engine over. Battery is good and all that jazz. I’ve been told so many different things about what it could be that I just don’t feel comfortable going any further on my own and need to just have it towed to a local shop & have it diagnosed and potentially fixed if the price is right (thanks Covid). I need some options of places in North Knoxville preferably to minimize tow bill cost since I reside in the Halls/Corryton area. HALP

Can't help with north Knoxville. Can with south Knoxville at Colonial Village on Chapman Highway. DIYKnox has opened at the old gas station/repair shop. They rent stalls/lifts at low costs by the hour and can have parts waiting for you at the lower commercial price if you know what you need. They have a certified tech working there nearly everyday that can help with normal repairs at no extra charge. They help you look up the repair you want to make online and guide you with how to do it. The techs are either retired from a local dealership or are working a second job. Good folks, opened up a couple of months ago.

They've had people coming in from Asheville to Roane County coming in. They are doing a lot with the car clubs around town. If you can get it there, it will cut your costs.
