No return for me. I gave him the truck, so it was his $500 to have.

I did point out rather emphatically, that if he'd given half a damn about the truck, and halfway taken care of it, he'd have made $4000 or better.

I don't know about you, but to me it's depressing to give something to a child and watch them think nothing of it and trash it like it's a Happy Meal toy. I took care of my first car like it was a Rolls Royce and it served me well for over 3 years. I washed and waxed it, I changed the oil, I learned how to do brake jobs, it was my freedom. Kids now days don't care and couldn't change a tire if they had to.

Yeah, living my whole life with half of my siblings in our home a different skin tone does give me a great deal of understanding that you are too foolish to ever have. Many of the foster kids came with casts from broken arms or legs from abuse (other little sis had 2 broken femurs in casts..less than 2 years old) also mentally almost brain dead from shaken baby syndrome bc they were crying and their worthless parents shook them violently until they stopped due to brain damage, cancers, heart conditions etc. The 1st sister my parents adopted had leukemia and died on her 2nd birthday in my mothers arms. We had her since 6 weeks old, her name is Monique. Will see her again one day. The last foster child had a bad heart defect which required several surgeries. Again, at 2 years old she died in my moms arms. That one was too much. Moms heart couldnt take losing babies anymore and stopped fostering after 17 years. Out of 37 foster kids, we only ever had 1 white child. He was a sweet little dude named Jonathan. He was temporary custody and went back to his mom in a couple months. I would bet everything I own that I have changed 100 times as many diapers on black babies than you have. I have spent at least 10 times as many nights in hospitals with black kids that needed surgeries, fighting cancer, heart problems etc. Bet I have even fed more meals to and baby bottles to black kids than you have. Have attended hundreds of ice skating, dancing, soccer games etc for black kids. See I was 12 when we started fostering. So I was there to help take care of them as a family, not to be a kid WITH them myself. I have shed many, many tears over the loss of my sister Monique, and another...not to mention every time the HIV drugs stop working and my little sisters immune system is overwhelmed and she is hospitalized for weeks or months until we get her viral loads back down to where a common cold will not take her life from us. I NEVER need assurance from YOU or anyone else of any skin tone about my investment in, or knowledge of black folks. I know exactly who I am, and that you are a damn fool.

P.s. Nobody gives a damn what you think...and 230 pounds of fatazz doesn't scare anyone except whoever gets stuck paying for lunch. Theres a pic of me posted somewhere in my post history, and my measly little 175 has shut the ignorant mouth of more morons like you than your fatazz ever has. 6ft 2 in great shape is 198lbs bud. *** BMI and the .gov say that a healthy female should weight 100lbs plus 5lbs for every inch over 5 feet. So 5ft 4 is 120lbs.

For men, 100lbs plus 7lbs for every inch over 5 ft. So at 6ft, a man should weigh 184lbs.... as we age, this gets harder and harder to maintain

You are 100% correct on all accounts. I'm 45 โ€ฆ. we weren't spoiled. I gave him a vehicle the day he turned 16, something I never got. I got a job at 16 and worked for 2 1/2 years at 3.90 an hour to save for my first car. I finally had enough a month before I graduated high school. I was 18 1/2 at that time.

My son joined the Navy last October, and never lets an opportunity go by now where he doesn't say.... "Dad, you were right about everything. I should have listened." He is only 19 now, so he is equipped with the requisite knowledge that I know more than him at a fairly young age. I have hope. HAHA
