for those that can not work from home, things may be getting dicey. Those that were laid off, furloughed, or eliminated all together, unemployment supplement ends the end of July. Everyone is in a different boat financially, but we are all in the same pandemic boat. Everyone is one breath away from a possible infection. What I gather from this forum, everyone seems to be doing OK financially. I don't hear people saying "I need a job" it's "open the economy".
shouldn't our tax dollars be used for the american people, as opposed to say propping up Israel or giving aid to other foreign countries? I would be nice if Israel supported themselves for a few months until we dealt with the pandemic here on the home front. So your answer is everyone should drink from the government teat? Of course that's your solution.
Not as simple as that and you know it. People need to get back to work, and most want to get back to work. We've already received one stimulus, how many more do you think the government should issue?shouldn't our tax dollars be used for the american people, as opposed to say propping up Israel or giving aid to other foreign countries? Lot's of uncertainty. It's hard to imagine people on unemployment receiving the extra $2400 mo. couldn't improve their situation during that length of time. Maybe rent a smaller place.for those that can not work from home, things may be getting dicey. I am fortunate enough to be able to work from home, but I am having to deal with the uncertainty of a college freshman that will be staying on campus. To me everything is up in the air.....the school is saying everything is on track. Two employees at the school were just diagnosed with Covid.

There's gonna have to be some balance at some point. If it's more advantageous to sit at home, some will definitely choose that option. Others are impatient to get back to work.I think the number of stimulus checks depends on how long the virus lasts. The people who have lost job need help. Trump did the last stimulus to prop up the economy, and I imagine our economy will need further propping up.
