2020 Presidential Race

Biden has nothing to hang his hat on and say “this is why you should vote for me”.
"I'm a better option than Donald Trump," will be good enough in this particular election.

.... and Barack Obama left office with a relatively high approval rating (57% average on Real Clear Politics). Joe Biden was his Vice President. It's reasonable to think that a Biden Administration would look similar to Obama's, and so would Biden's policies. I think the country is ready for a less chaotic presidency.

Then why didn’t he run in 2016?

Because his son, Beau Biden, died of cancer on May 30, 2015. He was grieving and wanted to spend that time with his family instead of campaigning. I know Republicans like to talk about the other son a lot more, but Beau seems to have been a pretty good guy. Beau Biden was awarded a Bronze Star for his service in the United States Army in Iraq. He was also the Attorney General of Delaware.

We know Obama picked Biden to pull the leftover centrists of the Dem party . Let’s see just how far center the DNC goes with his VP . Joe is a rubber stamp for the left , a Marionette complete with strings .

“I’m not Donald Trump” should suffice, no?

Obama consistently advised him to not run. That had more to do with it then anything.

Unless Parscale is really Manafort and has a time machine that's transported all of us back to 2016 it's not "literally 2016 all over again."

figuratively vs. literally on Vocabulary.com.
Literally, libs giddy over a turnover in trumps campaign thinking it means they won’t be crying into their pillow on election night.

And he also said to 60 minutes it’s because he couldn’t win

And in case you think it was a fake edit job

Vice President Biden

That is probably true too. HRC was the chosen one for some reason in 2016. It really doesn't matter. I don't think he would have run this time, except that there was pressure to have a centrist nominee vs Trump. I doubt Biden will seek re-election in 2024.

That will be interesting

Stepien managed both of Chris Christie's gubernatorial campaigns and served as his Deputy Chief of Staff before being fired in 2014 after Christie said he "lost confidence" in Stepien's judgment.

Trump might want to consider the possibility that his campaign staff is not the problem. Of course, that would require at least some sense of one's own shortcomings, so I guess it's pretty doubtful.

Lol right on time.

The not focused thing when he was a candidate the first time worked because he could just jump between outrages and count on applause. But now that its real and people are craving competence over entertainment, he's in a tailspin.
