There are too many degrees of separation between the decision makers and the real world now. Too much upper/middle management types.There's enough blame to go around just like there was 11 years ago. It was a nightmare just like this virus.
We still have the same problem we did then. Bureaucracy bloated CDC and NIH. Doctors who haven't set foot in a hospital in years making decisions and changing them daily. In some cases putting out multiple guidance that contradicted each other in one day.
Mind you, I'm not following anything daily. I'm taking a break while I'm off.
You've mentioned your sister before, I'm sorry you lost her.
It always amazes me working with the Forest Service that we report to more people than we have working on the project.
And despite all of those people getting a straight forward decision out of them is impossible. There is apparently no one that can make a unilateral decision on these things.
