So it sounds like those labs may have just been reporting their positive results, which would mean that they're simply not reporting their total number or tests, not falsely reporting their positives.

Understood, but it does seem less egregious than reporting negative tests as positive. In the grand scheme of things, do we know how much this affected the positivity rate?

Hard to say exactly, but Thurs/Fri.... her test hasn’t come back yet, but my three daughters were negative. She has a dry hacking cough, sore throat and tightness in her chest .... not bad... mostly aggravating according to her.... and a headache.

Sounds similar to me. I had some body aches and got tired real easy. Hope she gets to feeling better.

This is day 11 with no result. I called today, again, and the clinic said they still haven’t gotten the results back. I’m beginning to think it is just this clinic that is incompetent.

I’m pretty sure I had the ‘rona.

She's in her 30s. Good health. Eats healthy. Not obese. No pre-existing conditions. She should be fine. Never bedridden, but she's had persistent mild symptoms throughout. Fever never exceeded 100.5. Nagging cough. Body aches. Headache. Fatigue. Just can't seem to kick it though.

That’s awesome .. I nominate you and EL to receive the first ones . Then we can quarantine you two in Nova Scotia , to study you , and watch for side effects . That way if things go sideways in won’t be in country .

Busy day here. Has DeSantis addressed the problem in FL with all the hospitals and labs not reporting their negatives??? That's skewing the positivity rate big time.

College buddy of mine is a doctor in east TN and said their lab had informed his clinic that there was a 2 week backlog of tests. They were being overrun.
