They were hoping someone above then would cancel the season so they wouldn't look like the bad guys
I really think there waiting to see if this rise in numbers continue. Hope if the numbers start back significant they will try to play the games. Way toomuch money to lose if there's not a season. Those guys love it as much as we do .

That doesn't say anything about underlying health conditions nor specifies whether they died with or from the virus. No state or even county reports deaths uniformly.
Yeah I know its provisional data.

As of right now they have only 142 deaths between the ages of 15-24. Thats like 1 percent of 1 percent. .001 of the total fatalities.

Take away the deaths of those who had the severe underlying health issues, the deaths WITH the virus, and you have basically nobody death. Anomalies.

Play football. Protect the people who are actually vulnerable.

Oh, gotcha. Misunderstood your original post.

We’ve tested 40 million citizens by far the most of any country. You can basically get a test at will now. I had family get tested at the health department solely because they had been out of town. They had no symptoms just wanted to get a test to be sure. All negative.

If only I could name a prominent player on our roster with a severe underlying lung condition . . .

Zoom maybe? I suspect this is not the first discussion.

That would be a fun parody. A zoom of all the SEC coaches. I’m sure Leach would have an in appropriate custom background. Pruitts cam would be pointing straight up his schnozz. Saban would have Butch rubbing his feet in the background.

Okay and you think Trey has been hiding in a basement all this time? Hasn't hung out with any friends? Friends who hung out with friends? Been around family?
Been to the grocery store? He did protest OUTSIDE.

Outside where the virus does not spread easily.

He would be playing outside and tested and monitored 24/7.

Still his chances of dying are ridiculously slim. He has already risked his health playing in the past, which is probably just as dangerous as him getting the virus.

Say he is too scared to play. When does he? In the NFL? Until they have a vaccine that might work?

Young people die in car accidents every year way more than they do from this virus.

What if there was just 1 young person death? Would you be like "theres still a chance!"

🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
A THOUSAND
🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Ya know who arent dying? YOUNG PEOPLE.

What bizaro world?

You mean probability land, where you can use data to asses risk?

Allowing people with a .001 percent death rate or less, because they are in impeccable health, play football outside, where the virus does not spread very easily, is thinking that can only exist in a bizaro world?

Do you think nobody should do anything with anybody until the case load hits zero?

Have you not been to a sit down restaurant?

Have you not seen any friends since February?

You almost couldn't ask for better odds for one of our football players survival.

There have been 69 flu deaths this year as well amongst that age demographic, so they've been playing all these years, with close to the same amount of risk with the flu.

They will be tested monitored and probably isolated more than they would be if they weren't playing football. If they do catch it, they will know early, increasing their chances of survival, because they will treat it sooner. They also, will in all likelihood have better treatments by September. They've all been hanging with friends and family putting themselves at risk anyway.

We are not testing more than everyone else (by rate). We are ahead of many, but at 127,000/million tested, our testing rate is still behind some.

Our case rate, about 10k/million, is ahead of every sizeable country, minus Chile (pop of 17m).

For example, UK has a test rate about 40% higher than ours (176k/million) and yet they have 40% of the cases (4,200/million).
That’s all great except nobody here actually believes our numbers are accurate.
