That turn was happening but the Dems were trying to hide just how radical their agenda really is and Trump forced some of it out. Whether you like him or not he has put a spotlight on a lot of things from Washington and with the MSM.

I think there are a bunch of delusional people walking around here if they think people are just going to allow the left to keep disrupting society at all costs. George Floyd was the excuse but the left will openly admit this wasn't about Floyd, and everything since proves it.

I was listening to someone a few nights ago talking about the Dems plans to basically eliminate suburbs. I forget all the details but he laid it out and, while it did sound extreme, when he was done it made sense. Dems know they’re generally supported by larger cities so if you expand those cities that can help increase the voting base, especially in combination with other initiatives like immigration.

I heard it as well. Maybe Levin? It was a little hard to follow and seemed illogical at first but yes he brought the argument together. He is normally the first onto things. I believe it is a Cory Booker plan.

I think this topic was on the outer edge until he explained it. He always has a point. And he is very sharp! You probably know he was on Reagan's staff at a young age. He is a little more combative on his radio show but that is because he has that leeway. I also think he can't stand low IQ democratic policies. On his television show is mild and conducts very good interviews with bright minds most of the time covering a range of topics.

There’s literally tons that show just as many from Biden or more. They both misspeak. They’re both old. I don’t know if either has any issues but it doesn’t matter. At this point we are getting an old man that misspeaks at times. The windmill thing is stupid to include of course but MSM and Dems lose their minds over things Trump says when joking or, in that case, him saying “they say that the noise from windmills causes cancer”. In no way did he say he thought that himself but I’m sure someone of your intelligence knows that already. I’d think those at the Daily Show would know that as well but they either don’t have the intelligence to make that distinction or they’re being dishonest about that being a gaffe. I wonder which is true.

A classic Trumpism is to repeat nonsense with the tag "some people are saying," which allows him to straddle this line of tacitly giving his approval to the nonsense, but to disavow it when anyone points out how utterly ridiculous it is.

It is one of his many cheap, con man tricks. Face it, his presidency has been nothing but four year infomercial.

That was a goal under the Obama admin. Help destroy the attractiveness of suburbs. Move more low income city people to residential areas and change zoning laws.

He was going into eliminating single family homes and forcing everyone into apartment/condo-style living. All I know is Dems will do anything to get and keep power. I’m convinced more than ever that if we don’t do something about the current political system that it will eventually end up being our downfall as a country.

Why do people believe silly ideas like this? Do you really think the Obama administration wanted to end the suburbs and put 330 million people into apartments in just 8 years of being in charge?

If anything undermines our country, I feel a significant part of it will be because of the division created by so many people buying into every harebrained idea promoted by their "side" to demonize the other. The number if completely idiotic theories out there now is disturbing and astonishing.

Most people that own homes, even in lower end neighborhoods do not like a lot of apartments in the vicinity. It generally brings crime and other problems over time. I wouldn't rule it out of the democratic playbook.

I don't believe Obama wanted to take people out of single family homes but if you put enough people in apartments in those suburbs then you will cause the same issues that plague the inner city, intentionally or unintentionally.

That’s an extreme example and I said it was and I certainly never said anything about Obama doing it so no idea where you’re coming up with that one. What’s disturbing and astonishing is how people take things one person says and turn it into something completely different to fit their preconceived notions. But if you don’t think Dems, and Reps for that matter, would do whatever they can to get and keep power then you’re nuts. I believe the Reps are less dangerous in the short run but this current system is a problem as the politicians get rich by not fixing a damn thing.
