As an outsider there seems to be less effort in this one than 2016. I dont know when exactly things will pick up, Covid makes it strange. But at least here in Atlanta there was Hilary stuff everywhere by my Birthday in June.

Not likely. If COVID-19 and George Floyd don’t happen Trump cruises to easy re-election. Biden was to be the cannon fodder and the fact that he actually has a chance now has the DNC scrambling to make sure he doesn’t screw up his VP nominee pick on some recycled, unpopular dog turd like Ralph Northam. Not that Kamala Harris isn’t a bad choice, but at least she gets sympathy votes for fulfilling a certain demographic profile.

Absolutely right. Biden is much tougher to place the socialist label on. Biden isn't proposing free college tuition or free health care. Biden is also tougher to portray as being soft on crime. As a matter of fact, the 1994 crime bill went too far in the other direction. Biden isn't advocating for de-funding the police. Biden is not a progressive at all. For all of his negatives, this makes Biden a suitable candidate to face Trump, and as long as Biden can keep the election a referendum on the Trump presidency and Trump's character, he should win. It's working so far.
