I think her father was a US citizen, her mother was not, and she was born outside of the country. I think Ted Cruz's situation is similar and I dont remember any questions about him in 2016. I dont think there's ever been a definitive ruling in whether it constitutes natural born citizenship. Pretty sure McCain's status as natural born citizen was pretty much acknowledged.

When you are born to at least 1 American citizen I think you're good to go. McCain was born on a military base so technically that is/was sovereign US soil.

If he managed to win the election the DNC will step him down in 90 days and turn the country over to whichever female the DNC selects as his VP. Probably something he's already agreed to do.
