@Behr I'm meeting friends for dinner. Covid concerns aside, it's a spanish restaurant. I don't see a lot that excites me, but they do have salmon with a pea puree. I like lots and lots of vegetables, peas ain't one of them. Does pea puree overcome the salmon?

No. Not even depending on the salmon. But its gonna taste like peas, and I'm not being a smart Aleck, Obviously you think you can tolerate a puree or you wouldn't even think about it, so I think you'll enjoy it. Its got mint in it ftr.

thanks. It also comes with marbled potatoes and heirloom tomatoes. I’m guessing some sort of mater salad.

I love Spanish food. Not that I would know it, but I am curious of the name of the restaurant.

Here are those osmin basil seedlings.
I will thin them when they get about an inch tall.
That sage in the background is what I started from cuttings and came off what I had left over from last year. That's what I had in the window in those water jars. It's ready to be transplanted. I hope it takes over and will stay for a spell. HA
That basil Lowe's sells as "Purple Basil" (the Bonnie) doesn't say Osmin or Opel on the little ID, but it was green at the bottom of the plant as you said it would be.

@Behr

I started these below from seeds about a month or so ago, just plain sweet basil, and they're doing pretty well. Bugs are getting to them, though, and that's on the screened porch.

also, fwiw @Behr they offered this deal for unlimited "small plates" that you could just order til your hearts delight. I tried a bunch of different things. No salmon, no pea puree

I've had it before, but it was $10 more to include paella plates, so i skipped out. I had pork medallions, spanish tortilla (weird), asparagus, broccoli, potatoes, the chicken croquetas (yum), and the shishito peppers

I enjoy making Paella, but it can get expensive to do at home. We have made it over a fire pit while camping, great that way.
