This would really be one of Trump's more minor gaffes, along the lines of saying the Spanish Flu epidemic took place in 1917, not 1918. He's made that claim multiple times. Or Obama's 57 states. Trump does not wanna go down this rabbit hole.

For the second time this week, President Donald Trump appeared almost resigned to the idea that former Vice President Joe Biden will beat him in November, telling Fox News’ Sean Hannity that Biden “is going to be president because some people don’t love me.”

During a town hall in key swing state Wisconsin, Trump fell back on his well-worn attack lines against his Democratic opponent, painting Biden as too old and suffering from cognitive decline.
“Whenever he does talk, he can’t put two sentences together,” Trump exclaimed. “I don’t want to be nice or un-nice. The man can’t speak.”
At the same time, the president seemed to acknowledge current polling, which shows the ex-veep up by double digits nationally and leading in most battleground states—including Wisconsin, a must-win for Trump.

And he is going to be president because some people don’t love me, maybe,” Trump said. “And all I’m doing is doing my job.”

Just one minor correction: It's not that people "don't love you maybe", Donald, it's that they hate you. As in the plurality of Americans (45%+) strongly disapprove of your job as President.

It's always only been about you, Donald, and most people now understand that. Thanks for being a good sport and recognizing that you're destined to be One-and-Done.

I'm sure I could come up with more relevant things, unless you're suggesting 40 years in politics of accomplishing nothing doesn't leave much?

Both candidates are extremely flawed, poor choices. I'm sorry if that bursts your bubble.

We are tearing down confederate statues from 170ish years ago. Many of whom admitted they were wrong later in life.

40 years and as an active politician seems freaking relevant comparatively.

When you are the President, I would expect gaffes due to the schedule and stress of the position. You are literally always in front of an audience. Joe has been in the basement for months and should be sharp as a tack. He is not.

I’ve been wondering about this happening. I can only imagine the news coverage and the impact on the stock market of removing the president and inaugurating the Vice President.

Also, how would the media spin it? It was be a very historic and may be infamous event in our history.
