I'm sure it differs on location, hence the ~ in the photo, aka "about".That’s BS. My academy was 28 weeks long and you train between 50-100 hrs every year after
A total of 57 Buffalo police officers resigned from the department's Emergency Response Team out of solidarity with McCabe and Torgalski, who remain suspended from duty.
When Horne was fired, however, none of her fellow officers stood by her.
If police "are going to back out when you have an officer stop police brutality, and they step up when you have officers knocking over 75-year-old men, then we have a big problem in Buffalo, New York," she told The Washington Post.
Yes. They’re doing this with a wink and nod. It’s also entirely possible that all law enforcement agencies have all the technology they need with regards to facial recognition. This stuff has been in use for years and is incredibly fine tuned at this point.Outrage over police brutality has finally convinced Amazon, Microsoft, and IBM to rule out selling facial recognition tech to law enforcement. Here's what's going on.
Let’s see how long this lasts. My guess is once the public eye is turned away they’ll resume because money.
By and large most also require a four year degree. I wonder if mental midgets like the one pictured dare to "let that sink in". Obviously not.
I'm thinking back I do believe your are right about the two year degree part. As I understand it most require that much. Not sure that is true for the regular patrol officer. Also depends on the location. Some places only have a GED as the minimum requirement.
I always thought the general rule was a 2-year degree or a certain amount of college credits or other applicable experience, or some combination of those. Once you go up the ladder or specialize then the 4-year degree becomes more important.

SPD nearly killed a woman the other day when they shot her with one of those directly in the chest after the mayor two days earlier "banned" the use of tear gas. They then proceeded to assault the medics that were saving her life.
As his video footage racked up thousands of views, Hreha continued to attend the protests.
But a week later, he was walking home after spending an evening helping a friend hand out free hotdogs to protesters when a group of at least seven police officers surrounded him. They told him, he said, that he had been identified as someone who pointed a laser in an officer’s eye. The officers handcuffed him and took him off to jail.
Hreha said he kept telling the officers he didn’t have a laser and had spent the evening at the hotdog stand. Nonetheless, he was denied bail and ultimately held for two days.
His lawyer, Talitha Hazelton, said there were no pending charges against him and no sign of any “documentation with any narrative about the incident that allegedly justified his arrest”.
Hreha, who is white, said he believes the arrest was in response to the video he took and posted. He now feels there is a target on his back, which has given him a very small taste of what black people deal with every day.
Lol the “protestor” is clearly lying about her medical conditions based on what she is saying and as for the kid. If you are retarded enough to bring a small child to a riot you need DHS to take the kid awaySPD nearly killed a woman the other day when they shot her with one of those directly in the chest after the mayor two days earlier "banned" the use of tear gas. Protester hit by police flash-bang faced possibility of ‘life-threatening deterioration,’ medical records say
Moved to P&S so it doesn’t get lost in the off topic conversation in the other thread. Here’s another gem from SPD:
