George Floyd Protest/Riots

Didn't take long for you to go from tough guy to little mouse there did it?
Little mouse? How so? You’re likely some kid who hates police because you got busted for something stupid when you were younger when acting out bc your parents didn’t love you or some such thing. You know nothing of real crime or real fighting in life or death terms.

No one here takes you serious just as much as no one in real life does either

Lol this guy streaming is justifying burning it down. "Wendy's isn't a part of the community. It's a corporation." I'm sure the person who owns the franchise cared enough to operate the location in this neighborhood. And the local people that work there probably care. But yes, stick it to "the corporation".

It’s fascinating, though unsurprising, that a supposedly “good” citizen wasn’t able to abstain from drunk driving and refrain from stealing/using an officer’s taser. It’s pretty clear that he had no clue how to competently exist in polite society, and I wonder how many more just like him there are out there.
I'm not saying he was a good citizen. I'm saying the incompetent coward cops should have been able to handle a dude who was passed out drunk without losing a taser and shoot him in the back.

Also if you think getting a DUI should mean you should be put to death, there's some real estate in Tehran I'd like to show you.

Are you this thin skinned in real life? You make Butch Jones look like Jesus Christ.

I think the moment you aim a weapon at a police officer, ultimately, you’ve signed your death warrant. Thugs like him are feeling extra emboldened now, with the additional government dole in their pockets and the free reign they’re getting in cities across this country, and it’s a good time to send a reminder to Rayshard and all of his buddies that law and order rules the roost in this county and you can’t just get away with anything your heart desires because you and your fellow urchins hate the police.

So it becomes a license to kill? Can you show me where that's codified or found in the case law?
He resisted with violence, stole a weapon get police and then attempted to use it against them. It's not a license to kill, it's called common sense and decency. These officers for nothing to warrant the treatment they received from this idiot. He escalated everything to the point where he was killed. He is responsible for his outcome, no one else.

Would've never happened if the cops weren't idiots. It's also worth pointing out a taser is non-lethal. They should've known that, considering it was theirs and all. This is a classic case of dumb and dumber making it through the police academy (shocking) and getting someone killed for no reason.

This isn’t like the officers were asleep in their cars and someone stole their taser. Fights don’t always go as planned and to act like they did anything idiotic is either disingenuous on your part or simply speaking from ignorance.

I think it's fascinating that two supposedly well trained cops weren't able to hold onto their tasers and non lethally subdue someone who was seconds earlier passed out drunk. It's pretty clear that they had no clue how to competently do their jobs. I wonder how many more there are out there.
He put up a pretty spirited fight for someone who was supposedly passed out asleep. I would hate to see him on his game.

At least you’re honest about it.

Drunk man sleeping in his car ends up dead due to incompetent officers escalating the situation to where they had to shoot him in the back. Great work guys. Nothing wrong with this at all
I agree that the cops went too far, but I think you're oversimplifying by ignoring the guy was resisting arrest. The victim played a big part in the escalation as well. If he had cooperated, I believe he'd be alive. But I also believe the police screwed up and killed a man who didn't deserve to die. People need to stop taking one extreme or the other and acknowledge the big picture. There were bad actions on both sides. Should the cops be held accountable? Absolutely. But we also shouldn't act as if the victim did nothing wrong either. He clearly did. I just wish we had more non-lethal ways to deal with these situations. It's something that needs to be looked into, IMO. We need alternative solutions for how to deal with those that do not comply with law enforcement.

Law enforcement is complicit, but we solve nothing if we ignore that so many choose to fight LEOs rather than comply. The escalation tends to start on the part of the perps, and bad cops make the situation worse, and often lethal. This man was resisting arrest. George Floyd was resisting arrest. Neither deserved the fates that befell them, and there is no excuse for the cops using lethal force, but both are most likely alive if they just complied with what the police told them to do. If you feel your arrest is unjust, fight it in the court, not on the streets with armed police officers.

And judicial reform is another topic that needs attention as well.

We should put laws on the books with teeth. Resisting arrest is an automatic 6 months, resisting with violence, punching spitting kicking, is an automatic 2 years. If a weapon is involved it's an automatic 10 years, this should include car chases as well. These would be flat sentences no parole.
