Trump administration ENDS Protections for Transgender Patients from discrimination by doctors, hospitals and health insurance companies that were enacted by Obama

In a move applauded by President Donald Trump's conservative religious base, his administration on Friday finalized a rule that overturns Obama-era protections for transgender patients against sex discrimination in health care.

The Department of Health and Human Services said it will enforce sex discrimination protections 'according to the plain meaning of the word `sex' as male or female and as determined by biology.'

This rewrites an Obama-era regulation that sought a broader understanding shaped by a person's internal sense of being male, female, neither or a combination.

Rep. Val Demings makes a lot of sense. Joe Biden needs Florida and the polls are tight. She also has a lot of credible input to add on the hostile relationship between the black community and law enforcement. What I like most is that Rep. Demings puts the "Dems are against law and order, and they want to defund the police" attack to rest.

Val Demings name is unknown to 99% of all voters. Probably half the voters in Florida have never heard of her. She has never won a state wide race. She represents a congressional district that is heavily democrat and Crooked Hillary won handily in 2016. For starters, Demings has a 100% approval rating from PLANNED PARENTHOOD. But, she is BLACK.

EXCLUSIVE: Hunter Biden is spotted with his newborn son for the first time as he changes the baby's diaper and then straps him to a carrier on his chest while on a hike with his wife in LA

Hunter Biden has been spotted for the first time with his newborn son while on a hike with his South African wife in Los Angeles, DailyMail.com exclusive pictures show.

The beleaguered businessman looked every inch the doting father, strapping his two-month-old son to his chest in a baby carrier and helping change his diaper on Thursday while at Franklin Canyon.

The birth of Biden's son came just weeks after he settled a child support suit with his Arkansas baby mama Lunden Roberts, who met Biden while working as a stripper in Washington D.C. and gave birth to his fourth child in August 2018.

Scandal-ridden Biden has attempted to keep a low profile in recent months as his father, former VP Joe Biden, gears up to face off against Trump in the presidential election this year.

Mike Pence was hardly a household name prior to 2016. Name recognition going in is not important for the running mate. She is not a career politician. She was, in fact, a career law enforcement officer. The more I think about it, the more I like it. She can't be cast as soft on crime.

I bet the Trump presidential campaign has some negative stuff on her that I have not yet discovered.

How will the black plantation voters react to her running of the Orlando Police Department?

Orlando Police Complaints in the Spotlight as African-American Ex-Chief Runs for Congress

Val Demings has unique appeal as an African-American former police chief running for Congress. But the department she ran has a history of excessive-force complaints now coming under scrutiny.

Democrats believe they have found a rising star in Central Florida: Val Demings, the African-American former chief of the Orlando Police Department, who is running for Congress in 2016.

First, though, she will have to navigate the complicated national dialogue on police brutality and criminal justice, a conversation that has changed dramatically since Democrats first tapped the tough-on-crime Demings as a candidate for higher office.

When Demings first ran for Congress in 2012, discussion of her tenure leading the OPD tended to start and stop at one statistic: a 43.6 percent drop in violent crime from 2007 to 2011, according to FBI reports. But over the last year, a string of highly publicized shootings and violent arrests of African Americans by police has changed the criteria that voters and the media use to judge officeholders on law enforcement.

The growing focus on police misconduct highlights less agreeable aspects of Demings’s time helming the Orlando Police Department from 2007 to 2011.

Also that year, the Sentinel published an investigation that found that during Demings’ last full year as police chief in 2010, the department used force significantly more than the police department in Baton Rouge, a city with a similar population size and demographic mix.

Pence was a household name to me. I remember when he was in the House for several years, and then Governor of Indiana.

What does this have to do with Trump's "conservative religious base"? I'm not religious. I also don't think we want doctors playing pretend with patients when it comes to treating them. If you believe you are the other sex, it will not stop your body from experiencing any one of the thousands of conditions specific to your actual sex.

Why someone would want their doctor to pretend otherwise is beyond me.
