Typical: NPR Plays Coronavirus Card on Trump Campaign Rally Announcement Days After Fawning Protest Coverage

It’s no big secret that the mainstream media have been massive hypocrites with their glowing coverage of the George Floyd protests in contrast with how they scolded and ripped Reopen marchers just weeks ago and mask-shamed Alabama beach goers not long after that.

But sometimes their double standards are so glaringly obvious that they must be pointed out, not only to show skeptics of media bias allegations that there is truth behind the claims, but also to document them for the record.

Such was the case with NPR this week after the Trump campaign announced President Trump would be back on the campaign trail and holding rallies later this month. Here’s a pretty straight-up report from CBS News on the campaign’s announcement:

President Trump is set to return to his campaign’s signature rallies in the next two weeks after a three-month hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. Advisers to the president’s re-election campaign are still parsing through locations and venues for the traditionally packed rallies, as well as safety measures to be implemented.

Mr. Trump’s campaign manager Brad Parscale plans to present the president with options for an upcoming campaign tour this week. “Americans are ready to get back to action and so is President Trump,” Parscale said in a statement. “The great American comeback is real and the rallies will be tremendous. You’ll again see the kind of crowds and enthusiasm that sleepy Joe Biden can only dream of.”

National Public Radio is a joke they're even more radical than MSNBC:rolleyes:

Trump's poll numbers look like crap. Trump's RCP Average Approval Rating is 42.6%. They are the worst they have been since the government shutdown in January of 2019. Biden leads in every battleground state. Trump sucks.

Minnesota Freedom Fund Faces Scrutiny for Antifa and Soros Ties, Demands Defunding of Police

As major cities begin picking up the pieces after days of destruction, the rioters and looters can rest easy knowing that they have a get-out-of-jail-free card waiting for them. Bail-out charities are suddenly flush with cash, especially the Minnesota Freedom Fund (MFF), which has received an unprecedented level of donations from Hollywood stars including Justin Timberlake, Steve Carell, and Seth Rogen.

The REVOLUTION will be celebrified, thanks to aggressive Hollywood crowdsourcing.

The MFF’s stated objective is simple — it raises donations that it uses to bail out suspected criminals from jail and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention. The once-obscure group used to pull in a mere $110,000 a year in donations, according to public tax records. But since the death of George Floyd while in Minneapolis police custody, it has raked in more than $20 million in less than a week.

MFF’s sudden windfall raises questions about how the organization, which is led by a George Soros acolyte who is also a convicted drug offender, is actually spending its money. Are funds being used to bail out violent Antifa members? Will some of that cash find its way into the coffers of Democrat politicians or special interests?

The group’s aggressive demands to defund the police are also garnering attention. MFF is encouraging donations to Reclaim the Block, which has called for government divestment from the Minneapolis police. Reclaim is receiving financial support from the “Squad” — Reps. Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

MFF has been suspected of harboring Antifa sympathies through its close collaboration with the National Lawyers Guild, a radical leftist organization that has been called Antifa’s “unofficial legal arm.” President Donald Trump’s decision to classify Antifa as a domestic terror group could bring federal scrutiny to how MFF is using its money.

In the days since #BlackLivesMatter protests have swept the country, the MFF has become more brazen in its political rhetoric, including demands that Minnesota Gov. Tim Waltz (D) defund the police. It has also attracted support from prominent Democrat politicians — including several Joe Biden staffers.

Sen. Kamala Harris is encouraging people to donate money to MFF. At least 13 Joe Biden campaign staffers have also given money, which prompted a rebuke from President Trump. Biden has said he doesn’t support defunding the police.

It's time to lower the boom on George Soros funded groups!

They're almost as bad as they were when he won in 2016. This is getting catastrophic.

Terry McAuliffe Recorded saying Dems prefer Biden stay 'in the basement'

EXCLUSIVE: Top Joe Biden surrogate Terry McAuliffe told a video conference meeting of Virginia Democrats over the weekend that the former vice president should remain in his basement -- where he has famously campaigned remotely during the coronavirus pandemic -- and that Democratic officials are broadly "preferring" that Biden stay out of the limelight.

Fox News has obtained a video of McAuliffe's Norfolk comments, which came after Biden has made a series of gaffes in his already-limited public appearances as he social distanced from home -- including by declaring that African-Americans who support President Trump "ain’t black."

"People say all the time, 'Oh, we got to get the vice president out of the basement,'" McAuliffe told the "monthly breakfast" of the Norfolk City Democratic Committee. "He's fine in the basement. Two people see him a day: his two body people. That's it. Let Trump keep doing what Trump's doing."

McAuliffe served as campaign chairman for Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential run. At the Zoom video conference, he was introduced by a senior Norfolk Democrat, Charlie Stanton, who compared soldiers who participated in the D-Day landing to modern-day Antifa members.

"It's hard for the vice president to break through," McAuliffe told the group. "You've got the COVID crisis. He's not a governor, doesn't have the National Guard. He's not the president, doesn't have the briefing room. He needs to come out strategically. And when he says something like he did on race relations two days ago, it needs to have a big impact -- thoughtful, and that's what we're preferring that he actually do at the time."
