My statement was in response to disbanding police, "they" being the leadership of Minneapolis, hence the statement about trying to figure out what to blame next for "their" failures.



That was a lame attempt, you're usually better than this. Everyone has an off day though.

Everyone has a right to bitch and protest , looting , stealing , burning your own liberal cities and defining / disbanding your PDs will not bring about anything but more poverty . It’s a dumbass move but hey I say go for it if that’s how you want to roll .

Watching these protests is interesting. Seattle and Portland are vast majority white folk antagonizing the **** out of the cops. Meanwhile in LA it's more like a block party, some people have signs but it's mostly just music and dancing. They can't go to clubs or bars so they're just doing it in the street where it's sanctioned.

Doesn’t the County Sheriff’s Department take over all law enforcement within their county in the absence of city or town Police Departments?

Since that’s a county wide elected official position, the city council would have no say over that department.

I was wrong on the approach for the "defund and dismantle". Minneapolis isn't considered going without police. They're attempting to change the way the police assist the public.

True. But it does give a window of opportunity to those wishing to cause chaos within the community if the PD is disbanded and during the transition to whatever it's replaced with.
