George Floyd Protest/Riots

I would like to see what a bigger city without police looks like. I don't believe there will be mass robberies and lawlessness. Too many CC folks for that. There will be some negative effects but there will likely be some positives too.
It's a curious idea.

I'm not sure the possibility of CC curbs it all that much. Unless theres a massive movement toward more people carrying or owning. And even then the threat is probably not enough until it's more than that.
There may be some positives, I'm not sure what they would be, but I dont think it would take too long to figure out it's not outweighing the bad.

Last week we already saw what it will be like.

Hes getting a lot of hate for this, guess they dont want equality at all

I think it does give off an air of "it's not legitimate until a white person is a part if it". But I agree we need to stand right with (and behind) them as they lead. I have attended protests and 2 vigils. Lots of listening and letting BLM leaders let us know what they need from us. But we should follow and not feel we need to be the voice for them.

I dont get that vibe, but on the other hand I think its a massive sham anyway. Its a political play by the democrats

When I was growing up, they shot looters. They didn't have to shoot too many of them to get the message across that looting wouldn't be tolerated.
Well the punishment clearly matches the crime. If they go to court, do they deserve the death penalty? Line up all those white collar people first and politicians. They are the biggest looters of all.

Seriously, you think the right has militarized things? You might want to look into exactly how much money was spent by multiple branches of the government on guns, ammo and military gear during the Obama years.

What exactly do full time desk jockey branches of government need with tactical weapons and equipment? Flak vests, riot gear, Armor Light Rifles and nvg? Who were they gearing up to go to war with? Which political party authorized those purchases?

Do you know what the term neoconservstive means? And yes Obama was no saint when it comes to drone strikes I'm aware
