Agreed. And the protestors should be allowed to protest. And the cops should be permitted to arrest those breaking laws.
Side note: One of the things I find funny about this is the very public way government is showing the world how incompetent they are. Not that I am for them, but they set curfews then don’t enforce them, talk about showing how inept you are on a daily basis. If you aren’t going to enforce them then stop putting them out there.
She didn't say it was. She question why it wasn't considered racially motivated and the George Floyd case is considered racist. She said 3 black men pleaded guilty of killing her and no outrage became of it.
Not so fast there partner. You better check your privilege. They are protesting cops killing unarmed black people
Add in that people are supposed to be in quarantine to begin with. Our government is inept, and it goes beyond Republican/Democrat/partisan politics. We elect idiots because of the letter next to their name when we should be electing leaders.Agreed. And the protestors should be allowed to protest. And this is why people are protesting. They grossly overreacted. Nearly killed a guy. And they want to back their peers who did it.Could be fake news, but i just saw a story that says 57 Buffalo PD Emergency Response Team members resigned due to the mistreatment of the officers who pushed the elderly man down.
Yeah... I understand it's different... That's how comparisons work.Yes, she's discussing another news story
Her hypothetical is 3 white kids killing a black girl. You're telling me she actually means 4 cops kill a black man?
She has a point. When the perpetrators are white and the victim black, racism is the automatic assumption and people scream hate crime. When the perpetrators are black and the victim white, it doesn't quite reach the same level of societal outrage. It certainly isn't called a hate crime. The system seems to insinuate only white people can hate. How do we know a white victim wasn't chosen because he/she's white? How do we know a black victim was chosen because he/she's black?Yes, she's discussing another news story

Most have something to back up the racial assertion. She's just throwing this out at a tense time when there are zero facts. It's what she doesShe has a point. She actually made the hypothetical comparison in her tweet. You're trying to make another for her which simply isn't there. If she wanted to tie it to Floyd she would have but instead she used an even more polarizing "three white kids"Yeah... I understand it's different... That's how comparisons work.
The fact your first instinct was to ask for proof it was racially motivated is her ENTIRE point. A similar request for proof regarding George Floyd is considered frivolous at best and racist at worst.
I mean, even the Twitter comments going after her understand that, at least.

I can agree 100% with this.I don't think they were intending to hurt the guy. That doesn't excuse their actions completely, but I don't see the video the same that some do. The man approached the police and put hands on. That's a big no-no in and of itself. The officers pushed him back, and to me, it looks like he stumbled. I don't think the intention was to push him violently to the ground. It was an unfortunate consequence. And I'm sure the man's age played a part.
After that, a person who I assume to be a supervisor pushes the other cops forward while speaking into his radio. At that point, I'm assuming he's calling for medics, and by the end of the video, you can see people who I assume to be medics bent over attending to the man.
I could be completely wrong on how I interpret that. After all, I wasn't there. But the elderly man did engage first. He didn't deserve to be near killed for it, but again, I don't think that was the intention of the officers either.
End of the day, cooler heads on both sides need to prevail.
I disagree with the part where "most have something to back up the racial assertion". I see racism assumed all the time because the perp is white and the victim black. Most have something to back up the racial assertion. Maybe by outsiders but is it charged like she asks? The public opinion court is irrelevant to her questionI disagree with the part where "most have something to back up the racial assertion". I see racism assumed all the time because the perp is white and the victim black.
I don't follow her, so I have no idea "what she does". Honestly, until people mentioned her on here, I'd never heard of her.
