That and young people who just flat don’t want to work hard. Interviewed a lot of college grads who think they should start at $100,000 a year and that they should be in management in two years. A lot of entitlement in today’s kids.I can't believe i forgot that off the top of my head. but you are 100% correct
well let's see:I guess you don't know what words like inexhuastive, common, and systemic mean.
And I was ridiculing it as a list.LOL. You're smarter than this. Of course, those aren't all of them - EEOC cases happen all the time, in every city and every state. There are entire law practices that specialize in that area.
Had you read the byline description you'd have noticed that:
At any rate, he and many others deny its existence completely - he asked for a list and I gave it to him.
No kidding. I was so sick of entitled little brats coming through my company that worked for 2-3 years and then left to be in management someplace else. Oh and don't start work until 9:00 or preferably 11:00, because anything earlier is too hard. That and young people who just flat don’t want to work hard. Well then lets not forget most would be cannabis. Cannabis is only illegal and stigmatized to be tested for due to a racist campaign using cannabis against the black and Mexican people.
It all still comes back to racism. Just like everything else in America.
If you are providing a list to prove systemic racism one would expect it far more exhaustive than that. What was really curious, to me, is that it wasnt some set amount. Like they could have listed 10 a year, and provided a link at the bottom to others. That still wouldnt have been exhaustive but would provide a clear statement that it's a consistent problem of enough numbers to be an effective argument.I guess you don't know what words like inexhuastive, common, and systemic mean.
Sorry, that dog won’t hunt. We get plenty of whites that can’t pass a drug screen. I’m not going to comment on what should or shouldn’t be legal. Until it’s legalized completely, Cannabis is illegal in the eyes of most corporations and they are allowed to make their own rules. We get randomly drug tested and I can be fired for testing positive. It’s not just for prospective employees.Well then lets not forget most would be cannabis. That was pretty impressive when he knocked out Mike Tyson.Individuals. The person. Doesn't matter race, creed, color, affiliation.
Self reliance, self dependence, and rugged individualism make for success, whatever barometer is applied to what "success" is. Obstacles are obstacles, no matter how small or big, and the only thing that doesn't yield success is falling victim to the obstacles instead of overcoming them.
Frederick Douglas is the best example. It truly lies within the human. Everything else is excuses and for losers, and that's why there are so few winners.
Feast or famine. Go back in time. It is very simple, we just like to think it isn't. Necessity is the mother of all invention, and more so, all survival.
We just happen to live in a system where by resources and the ability to sustain and live, are too easy. Take it all away, crumble the whole thing down, and you'll see the same people thrive and same fail, no matter color, creed, or race.
It is difficult to imagine such a poor existence as yours. That statement is as loser of a mentality as I've ever seen.
No, All races use drugs the same. Are you saying minorities have to use and/or associate themselves with drugs?
You are the one that sounds so angry little buddy.
I'm doing ok myself.
No, All races use drugs the same.
I took it as candidates overall of any race had trouble passing a dt. I was pointing out the reason that a dt for cannabis even exist for anyone is due to racism.
Ok champ. Whatever you need to think.I dont think you are. That statement wreaks of self pity and hatred. With that attitude it would be hard to imagine you've really had any meaningful positive impact on anything you've ever touched.

Not one single person said thatSaying that the only reason an employer would turn down a black prospect is due to racism is an incredibly weak argument.

No, in the chemical industry where I work, it’s rooted in the interest of not having a chemical operator show up stoned and push the wrong button and blow up the plant. That’s why we drug test. Has nothing to do with racism. If you could pass the drug test and had some aptitude to learn, we didn’t care if you were purple and from Mars.Ok champ. Whatever you need to think.
i was speaking on the historical reason that they even test. it is rooted in racism.
Not one single person said that
I have to disagree. It's mainly insurance related. Or in some cases federally regulated in safety sensitive positions.
