Im not a proponent of gun control and I don’t think gun owners are guilty of murder by association or should be subjected to violence or gassing by the government.

I’m a proponent of reducing gun violence, and I don’t think the 2A is as broad as many republicans think it is, but most of what I’ve seen proposed in that regard is “we should set up a bureaucracy and allow Karen to refer people for the purpose of allowing the bureaucracy to decide whether to confiscate their weapons/allow them to have weapons.” Hard pass, for me.

They are also doing it because they believe Antifa is posting addresses and calling for threats against families. Also, they believe the water bottles may be gasoline, which is what makes the firecrackers so threatening. Not saying either of those are likely (probably not), but I fully understand the concern.

I believe if they want to be peaceful, they can be, but the second someone in the crowd throws something or hits a cop is the second they all need to go or be arrested.

I’m appalled by it. He states he can’t leave his post to march with them. Why? It would violate his orders. Yet he willingly violates a regulation by making a political statement in uniform when he kneels. It’s not as if the military doesn’t pound knowledge of that regulation on everyone. It’s a huge thing in the military. He should lose his bars as he’s not fit to lead.
