The news is pretty much impossible to watch right now. Of course the liberal stuff is crazy but I'm flipping around at lunch today and I come across a panel discussion on Fox. One person (Marie Harf) compared (a report of) a protester spitting at a police officer in Lansing to the burning, looting and sometimes shooting that's going on right now and no one called her on it. Has the entire news business been completely dumbed down or what? I tried watching some sports talk on Fox (Colin Cowherd) and all of his guests and the host, are giving similar dumb analogies. Colin's guest (Nick Wright) said if you killed a good guy and in protest someone bled on your nice carpet causing it to be replaced, why would anyone talk about the carpet???

OK, I'll never get that lunch hour back again and yeah, I'm now dumber for having watched it. But is that where we are with this story now? Is there nothing better to do in America today?
