Then you’ll love this. It’s a double duty Brigade for things like disasters and civil disturbances and because of that they are required to meet both State and Federal training standards. They all just look pretty disgruntled over drawing the short straw and having to report in.

Nothing has changed since the 60's? Were you even around then? A lot has changed and for the better, it just hasn't changed enough to where we all get along together, where character is the measure not color, where people don't need to burn/loot/assault to show their frustration or act like criminals. We still have a long ways to go and if this latest is any yardstick, we may never get there. Where is the Golden Rule that all of us have been taught? SMH, it makes me truly sad. George Floyd was not treated as a human being. The lack of compassion displayed by Ofc. Chauvin was appalling to me. I support the peaceful demonstrations but I am equally appalled at the mayhem that unfortunately results every night using his misfortune as an excuse to behave in such a manner as to destroy property and attack others. How does this help the cause?

As far as "plants", do these look like plants to you? And there are far more and far worse out there.

To your first point.......yes most of the violence is driven by Antifa but they are not plants and there are plenty of videos of black people beating the hell out of anyone in there way and even murdering black cops.

I'm not against the current protests. I'm against the looting and the rioting. That's not protesting.

I'm against the way CK chose to protest because I believe it disrespected veterans. That's my opinion, I'm allowed to have it. I find it interesting that CK never found other ways to protest, or express his message. Why didn't he carry his message off the field and continue to fight for change?

In a period of 10-15 years, MLK changed the world through non-violent methods. He made the world a better place. We need another leader like that.

No one argued CK's message. Most understand that racial profiling and excessive police violence exist, and are a problem that needs to be addressed. But CK went about delivering his message poorly. His protest garnered more attention than his message. He should have seen the problem with that and found a better way to deliver his message. If his message meant so much to him, why did he stop when he lost his spotlight? Honestly, it makes me question his sincerity, even though I agree with his message. He didn't even reach the tip of the iceberg in what MLK experienced in his fight for change.

Now, would you like to offer something constructive to the conversation or are you just going to express more faux outrage?

All of the western worlds want immigrants don't they? Since we're such a racist country lets give them a utopia with free healthcare and 10 weeks of vacay a year. How could anyone turn that down?

Not as much as we all would like? sure, maybe even a heck yes.
but nothing? Straight hyperbole. you seem to be acting that any cop killing any black person = straight 1960s. the volume is WAY down, despite the population almost doubling. and now when it cops getting involved its a national outrage, and they get fired and charged. Lynching is way down, segregation is gone, the N word has become the "N word". education, jobs, all up.

about the only thing that is down, or up in a negative way, is the stuff that Ras hates on all the time, single mothers, and drug use.

I really really want to know what actually makes 2020 = 1960, to say NOTHING HAS CHANGED.
