Very well could happen but let me paint you a picture.
Trump declares martial law and send in fed troops, they kill a bunch of civilians, who gets the blame? Who gets prosecuted by Biden's AG, the soldiers who were not trained for these missions and never signed up for them.
So far, the police have been unable to stop this. Now it's likely possible they have been given stand down orders by their liberal mayors.
It seems to be getting worse police are being targeted by people driving cars/trucks into them and over a half dozen were shot last night. It looks like with each night this is going on these terrorists are getting bolder in their actions.
It looks like it's only a matter of time before they start going after innocent civilians by doing home invasions. If that happens things will go from bad to worse as we'll start seeing assaults, sexual assaults and murder as people try and fight back.
Does anyone have data on police shootings? Demographics, geographic locations, etc...? I am trying to find the information elsewhere but if it has been reported here and someone can point me to it, much appreciated. This thread moves fast and I may have missed it.
Was this a serious post? You honestly don't see any problem with members of the American armed forces killing American citizens? What you are describing sounds like Tiananmen Square from 1989... not the United States. That would be a sad scene, don't you think? Your posts have a cartoonish quality. Archie Bunker meets American Dad.If things devolve to the fifth level of hell they will be allowed to do what they have to do. In the case of a street war i would have no problem with Soldiers shooting down paid rioters firing at them in the streets.
If they do the media will probably label them racists. It looks like it's only a matter of time before they start going after innocent civilians by doing home invasions. If that happens things will go from bad to worse as we'll start seeing assaults, sexual assaults and murder as people try and fight back.
They needed to be fired. The amount of force was totally excessive. They’re part of the problem.
Also don't forget millions in tax payers dollars will be spent to fix the damageIf someone wants to protest, fine, go for it...but do you really think it'll accomplish anything? Here's a simple question: A year from now, what will these protests have accomplished? Please, give me a list.
Here's what will happen regardless of the protests:
1) Quite a few of those Minnesota cops will spend a lot of time in jail
2) The family of George Floyd will be millionaires many times over
3) Many places will talk of better training for cops
Does anyone think it was training that caused this cop to put George Floyd to death with his knee?
Gov data, a few years old:Does anyone have data on police shootings? Demographics, geographic locations, etc...? I am trying to find the information elsewhere but if it has been reported here and someone can point me to it, much appreciated. This thread moves fast and I may have missed it.
