Trump and Biden are both getting in their photo ops. Seems strange (to me) to condemn one and not the other. Both are pandering.

One went to a place, a church, that has seen every POTUS since James Madison attend that was an assault on an historic symbol faith. You had a crazed mob out the night before and he showed the strength you'd expect out of your POTUS respecting that long standing tradition.

The only one is a feeble old man that is pandering on social issues much like he has always done. This photo op reminds me of Butch Jones and the turnover garbage can. 'Hey look hold it high. Smile Cryptkeeper Joe and show all your teeth but stay away from the kids. We'll have your cane ready.'

In St. Louis, Chaos Takes Over, 4 Officers Shot (Updated)

Once the sun went down, things took a decided turn south. A 7-11 near downtown was looted and burned. A Family Dollar store was also burned.

A local historical home, the Campbell House and Museum, was set on fire, though it sounds as though firefighters were able to get that blaze under control. As reported by KMOX:

Things really took a turn after midnight, when four St. Louis police officers were shot while standing in formation. Multiple shots rang out, and it was not immediately clear how many individuals were responsible for it.
Hayden noted these individuals had “no intention of protesting.” They threw gasoline on police officers, fireworks and rocks at them, broke windows and looted. At one point, Chief Hayden became visibly emotional as he tried to make sense of the mayhem:

Some coward fired shots at officers, and now we have four in the hospital. But thankfully, and thank God, they’re alive, they’re alive. But I’m….I…why…can we make SOME sense out of this? Can we make some sense out of this?! That’s all I’m trying to say.
Thankfully, none of the officers’ injuries are considered life-threatening. Although, unfortunately, they were not the only officers injured across the country last night.
And, sadly, it is now being reported that a retired police captain was shot and killed later while trying to defend Lee’s Pawn & Jewelry, his employer’s place of business.
Update: The retired police captain who was killed last night has now been identified as 77-year-old David Dorn:
What is the Death Toll Now in the name of George Floyd?

This is the clown world we live in. All lives matter = racist. You’re part of the problem

All lives obviously matter. Pointing out the plight of black lives is needed and appropriate.

Jesus said he'd leave the 99 for the needy one. He wasn't saying that the 99 don't matter. He was saying the one in need is...well, the one in need. It's not complicated.

Democractic leaders wanted this to make Trump look bad, now he either sends in the military and many accuse him over overstepping, or he doesnt and he is accused of doing nothing, right now its a no win situation for him.
They are idiots because normal Americans don't agree with these riots and won't stand for the images they are seeing. They know it's not conservatives or Trump doing these things.

They could beat Trump easily but they can't help shooting themselves in the foot, literally. Just like that now Trump has the conversation off COVID and the economic issues

You may be right, I'd wager however that the same people upset about the riots would be mocking the athletes and celebrities for using social media for daring to stoke racial divide.
Personally, I hate hearing celebrities and sports figures expressing political opinions or shilling for charities.

You really could be talking about either one with this. Trump certainly has pandered to his base on social issues... and he will turn 74 years old in two weeks. Trump holding up a bible strains credulity. Does anyone believe that he actually reads what is in it? I do not.

Mandatorily having outside, unbiased parties investigate police brutality instead of local DA's who have relationships with local authorities would probably be a good plan. Also having jury awards or punitive damages come out of the policeman's retirement fund would be a good incentive for even look the other way cops to stop Bubba from making the suspect fall down a flight of steps nine times.

So you would rather the cities go down in flames and a lot of people possibly be murdered than send in the Military huh?

I'd rather the citizens of those cities step up and demand that those in charge put an end to this.

And to think, you probably consider yourself a conservative constitutionalist.

There are all types of stop the violence movements around the country addressing day to day violence.

The crime, which is drastically lower than the 80s or 90s, won't drop super low until more people are educated and have access to better paying jobs and have equal opportunities in housing, education, fiance, and the judicial system.
Who is preventing education, denying jobs, housing, etc?

Here is where we disagree, ANY person can work hard and raise their status in the US, i just was reading an article about a homeless black kid in Florida that was abused and abandoned and he worked hard and is now valedictorian of his class and has a bright future. Anyone can do it

Let me guess, he's a little skinny jeans wearing white guy with a man bun and an art history degree?

I'm not sure who he is but the GPD and Sumner County Sheriffs office know exactly who he is and where he lives.

Looters Grab $2.4 Million Worth of Watches from Soho Rolex Store

The looters of a New York City Rolex store did not get justice, but they did get a high price timepiece on Monday night.

Looters grabbed $2.4 million worth of watches after breaking into a Rolex store in New York’s Soho neighborhood, according to a New York Post report citing police sources.

Why would someone in the party of science care whether or not people at large believe in the efficacy of masks? It is irrelevant.

The fact that you can change the entire popular opinion on a scientific argument in a few weeks isn't exactly good news to anyone that cares about science.

Far-Left Antifa Anarchists Take Credit for Setting French MP’s Car on Fire

The far-left anarchist group “Attaque” has taken credit for an attack on the vehicle of an MP belonging to French President Emmanuel Macron’s La République En Marche! (LREM/Republic on the Move).

The arson attack took place outside the home of French MP Eric Alauzet in the city of Besançon and saw his car set on fire, with the blaze spreading to other vehicles parked next to it belonging to his neighbours.

The anarchist group took credit for the attack on Saturday morning and put out a statement saying: “Fire on all authority! For freedom.”
