Yeah we could see the 82nd and 101st Airborne patrol the streets in the big cities as the local police don't seem to be able to deal with this or they don't want to deal with this.

There are valid points being made on both sides. The riots absolutely must stop, and the police in some instances are unable (for various reasons) or unwilling to take control. Local police in many areas were never setup to handle riots of this scale and some restraint on their part, however frustrating it can seem, is necessary. Utilizing the Guard can be effective, but if Martial Law is enacted and the Military is turned loose, things could get out of hand and right quick. I would ask that those desiring this option consider the potential outcomes both short and long term. It wouldn't just be those rioting that would be impacted.
