How come they never show that series on TV anymore? It was epic.

I saw an interview with Jeff Daniels where he was talking about how the reenactors in the scene were all from Maine. These guys knew everything about Chamberlain and they did this battle multiple times a year. They were all giving him context and correcting his accent and his actions. Also, they are at Gettysburg standing on Little Round Top.

By the time they filmed he was so nervous about screwing up that he thought he was going to throw up. But that ended up making his performance perfect. He looks scared in the scene because he was.
