Things I'm mad about today

Usually fish above the weir, around Miller's Island or put in at Peach Orchard and float the river. Used to have walk in access at Cave Creek before the property sold.

Turn off exit 122 and turn left. Turn right on the road passed EXON (right next to Wal mart). Drive a few miles up and there are tons of spots past the bridge where you can pay to park and have easy access to walk in the river. I have caught some of the biggest trout around that area but always looking for new locations on the clinch.

That looks like the Peach Orchard area. That's where we would float from. Down past the jail and take out at the bridge. Parking at the church above the jail wasn't bad in the past. Need to catch a rise though.

ME! Its not bad when you do it trout fishing, you just pull the fly out of the fish's mouth or fling a little fish 25 feet behind you. On salt water for false albacore, you might very well break your friends 8 wt! Good thing expensive fly rods usually have good warranties.
Fishing for lake trout growing up I learned to set the hook hard as the hard tough cartilage in the jaw. First time I fished for land locked salmon in Maine, I was using that hard set method and lost 8 of 10 fish on the first day... a fishing pro there took me aside and shared the secrets to these fish... one being they have very soft jaws and you really cannot set the hook. Let them set it.

This is why it's gonna be tough to get over Covid 19. Too many stupid people on Earth. A niece just graduated college. She invited 7or 8 of her cousins and friends over to celebrate and sleep over (already a bad idea). 4 days later one of the attendees, a cousin, informed the rest that she had been feeling poorly and running a low grade fever for several days before the celebration - but she thought it was only allergies - (Huh? I've had chronic allergies my entire life and never run a fever). She got tested the day after the sleep over and got her results back in 3 days. She is positive for Covid. Several of the girls attending the graduation thing went to a Mother's Day dinner 2 days after the sleep over (because the original dumb sh*t waited until she got the results to tell anybody) attended by more than 30 people (another bad idea). Each of those people has come in contact with no telling how many other people. So 1 ignoramus has caused no telling how many people to come in contact with it because she was too stupid, or too selfish to keep her dumb ass at home from the graduation thing. And 1 out of every 20 people on Earth is that stupid ( is that too low a percentage?)
