Largest city in the US. Most international travelers. The most dense population - 66,000 people per square mile. Yep It's all Cuomo's fault,. There are more people in NYC than AL and MS combined.

The organization that had Greta Thunberg on as a Corona virus expert is talking about denying science... Crazy.

Two things:

1) We are talking about science that uses unreliable models that are given unreliable data, being used as a club by people who have never read a scientific journal in their entire life.

That is no better than some guy making predictions by reading words in the Portuguese version of the bible diagonally. People who talk about believing science who don't accept freshman level biology are part of a cult they are referring to as science. And yet CNN would have you believe Trump is denying that gravity exists.

2) Comparing the potential impact of opening vs not opening is not a scientific argument! Science only says what it is, not what you should do about it. Everyone basically understands the numbers will go up after opening, doesn't mean it's the wrong solution in the final analysis. This idea that the government would be perfect if we just staffed it with a panel of experts, gave them Godlike status, and obeyed all their commands is patently absurd. Nothing would ever get done. The economy experts and the health and safety experts would have diametrically opposed ideas and they would both be right.

Policy making isn't science. Jesus.

Was it the writer’s opinion or did they factually point out the policies that White’s company has instituted? If he was ashamed of his own policies then he should have done something different. Otherwise just be proud of what you’ve done/are doing. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think he’s probably more worried about bad PR. If it didn’t potentially affect his bottom line I’m sure he would be indifferent. Doesn’t strike me as an ideological stand against some media machine. Seemed like a tantrum from bad press.

Chicago is 8 million with 3k deaths.

NYC is 18 million and 7 times the deaths at 21k.

Chicago is highly urbanized and full of travelers.


It may not be cuomos fault but he sure as hell hasn't done anything special.
