Don’t play thenWhile I don't disagree with the gist of his argument, this is not a good look for Blake Snell.
Rays' Snell: Playing for reduced pay 'not worth it'
Definitely needs to be kept behind closed doors. It is a little amazing how most fans side with the owners in sports labor disputes. Even when they lockout players, fans think it’s a strike and blame the players. While I don't disagree with the gist of his argument, this is not a good look for Blake Snell.

I will never in any circumstance feel sorry for a professional athlete. Don’t like the deal, don’t play. It’s that simple. There is no more gray area here than the factory worker who doesn’t like his circumstances. Have a problem with your employment? Find something better. Goes for any profession.Definitely needs to be kept behind closed doors. It is a little amazing how most fans side with the owners in sports labor disputes. The problem is that the players are the product so they have a little more pull than that. Salaries have stagnated and what the owners are proposing is a de facto salary cap; something that they know will never fly.I will never in any circumstance feel sorry for a professional athlete. I don’t like it, but I wouldn’t be happy either if somebody started talking salary cap in my industry.
