So please explain if they don't want to wreck the economy, why their desired actions all appear to wreck the economy? Delay the first bill, keep states closed despite the numbers improving, try to pass an second, more pork filled bill with little to no real economic stimulus (paying off a state's existing debt, money for the arts and Broadway are not going to create real jobs)

Hopefully this will morph into SOP for subsequent potential pandemic viruses coming out of China. Shut down all travel between the US and China and Chinese Nationals should be banned from entering from any other satellite country as well. Same for any other potential pandemic virus originating country.

These are the 7 states with the most cases of COVID-19 :

1) New York - Governor Andrew Cuomo (Democrat)
2) New Jersey - Governor Phil Murphy (Democrat)
3) Massachusetts - Governor Charlie Baker (Republican)
4) Illinois - Governor J.B. Pritzker (Democrat)
5) California - Governor Gavin Newsom (Democrat)
6) Pennsylvania - Governor Tom Wolf (Democrat)
7) Michigan - Governor Gretchen Whitmer (Democrat)

As you can see, for the most part, the states with the most cases, also have a Governor from the Democratic Party. However, Massachusetts has also not reopened as of yet, and they have a Republican Governor in Charlie Baker. Governor Baker has recently announced that certain businesses can reopen on Monday under their "Phase I" plan. So, it is not strictly down party lines either... as you seem to believe. Indeed, the states with the most cases, are the ones who are slower to reopen, which would make sense to most people.

Elon Musk is my new hero.

He just told California that he is done with the dumb **** and if he can't open his plant he will take it elsewhere. California caved and let him open.

This is all about money and power, folks. If it was really that big of a health threat to let Tesla open back up they wouldn't have caved. They caved as soon as the threat of losing tax revenue was floated.

CNN lost all credibility when one of their experts hypothesized that that Malaysia plane that went missing went into a black hole..To CNN (and most leftists) to be an expert you just have to tell someone your an expert, credentials be damned.

Are there any statistics yet categorizing the ferocity of Covid. What percentage of the positive test have no symptoms, require bed rest, require hospitalization, ICU care and Death? How this has changed over the last 90 days?
It appears from the TN statistics that while we continue to have a number of positive cases, the new cases admitted to the hospital are dropping significantly on a percentage basis.

UT Medical Center hasn’t even seen a ripple of COVID patients.
