Just one then I’d take UT and the points against Bama. UF has some weird mojo against us, KY is decent enough to possibly keep it to 7 (#2 choice though), and I feel like we tend to play down to Vandy and just do enough to beat them. We played Bama tough last year led by our D, which will be even better this year and we are in Neyland. They likely still beat us but I don’t think they beat us badly and I think they’ll leave UT knowing they were in a dogfight. I believe UT goes 3-1 ATS (2-2 straight up) based on those lines and what we know today. We’re a long ways out though. A ton of things can change between now and then.
Pretty much my same exact thoughts

I could just be talking with my heart but i'd take those bama odds. Mac Jones aint it to me. If he plays like he did at Tuscaloosa in Neyland they not winning by 2+ Tds

As a general rule, Mac plays well when he starts and doesn't plan well in relief.

That weird mojo UF has on us is called Dan Mullen

If Bailey is the starter, not going into his first game, and has hit a stride I think everything but bama could be a pay.

Think it's a 15 point loss to bama no matter what.

Screen shot this if you think you might forget it, mortgage the house, Tennessee will cover vs Alabama!

Sort of surprised that Bama is essentially the same road favorite at Knoxville that UT is at Vandy. Not saying Bama should be a bigger favorite, but it sure feels like Tennessee ought to be.
I tend to agree, but until we prove that we can handily beat teams we are better than then I can somewhat understand it.

Why do you say that? It was going on even when Mullen wasn’t OC or HC. Are you in the camp that thinks Mullen is a good coach or no? I think he is but some don’t.

It’s been going on for what seems like forever, but Mullen ensures it will continue. He is a top 5 coach in college football today without question.

You shouldn’t! It was just one of those games that ended up being a grinder. I appreciated what you were saying and I agree. We should kill them
Vandy had a helluva D in the mid-late 90's. They kept them in many games they shouldn't have any business being in.

Very few are. Bama doesn't need him to be Tua.
Never said they did. I said he aint Tua and if he plays at Neyland like he did at Tuscaloosa bama wont win by 2+ tds. We played them both and without being biased Jones wasnt all that. That doesnt mean bama wont win the game. That means i dnt think he will be the reason why they win but he damn sure could be the reason they lose.

Not arguing that. Like I said, for whatever reason Mac seems to do well when he starts and looked lousy the times he came in midway for Tua. Might be a mental thing for him.

Either way, if it comes down to Jones vs Guarantano then I'm comfortable with Jones.

Wow. I’m not sure if I’d call him top 5 but I could probably get on board with top 10 if he’s not in the top 5.

Oh the Vandy game will be monumental. It'll be so bad Dave Neal will forget himself and thank everyone for tuning in to the JP Game of the Week. The Nashville police will ask them to stop play in the third quarter so they can tape off the entire field and declare it a crime scene. The coroner will declare Vanderbilt's cause of death to be "asphyxiation" from all the pigskin Eric Gray jammed down their throats, and Trey Smith will make enough pancakes to feed the entire Vanderbilt athletic department at the funeral service. One of the six Vandy fans at the wake will turn to the other and say "I can't believe how bad that game was," and the other will reply "wait there was a game?" Yes. Monumental.

I don’t gamble, but if I understand correctly, the odds makers are saying UF will defeat the Vols by less than a TD with EP. 2020 Gators are purported to be a very strong team, so one could twist that spread into a respect for the up and coming Tennessee program. I want a Vols victory outright. If some UF fan at work wants to wager lunch on the game, I’ll take the 6.5 points, but I’ll want UT to WTFA.

Uhh we all watched the game last year and we went 4 quaters with JG. If he doesnt fumble at the goaline that game could have been alot different. We are not the same team yal been beating on for a decade. This game is no longer an automatic W and if yal think we gonna just roll over bc its bama u will be sadly mistaken. GBFO!!
