Pres Trump was not acquitted in the Senate until Feb 5th. Let the record show that the Democrats forced the President to concentrate on impeachment at that time.

Is there something that keeps the President of the United States from focusing on two things (or more) at once? FDR had a two front war vs the Axis powers to deal with, while also trying to recover from the Great Depression and cope with his own personal battle with polio.

And give me a break... there was never any doubt that President Trump was going to be acquitted by the Republican-controlled Senate. How much time was really spent focusing on the Senate trial, when the outcome was not only a foregone conclusion before it started, but there were also no new witnesses being called?
