If you were going to die today but could spend one more day alive for $1, would you do it? Of course you would.

But would you spend 1 million dollars for one more day? Probably not.

But would you spend 1 million dollars for another 20 years? Probably so.

But would you spend the 1 million dollars for 20 more years if you were 85? Probably not.

There is a legitimate economic concern when discussing lives. That the govt wants to mandate that there isnt, is absurd.

I don’t know where you went to school but it sounds like it sucked . I knew most or we as a whole knew the cooks in our schools and we had real food not brussel sprouts and tofu or no meat Monday’s . I don’t think I was ever served undercooked chicken or over cooked tater tots . Maybe like all things , it’s not what is being cooked but the actual cooks in the kitchen .

Cuomo is scum. And the fact that there are large numbers of people that think this moron can manage anything, is very disturbing.

My hatred is building for the wannabe destroyers of this country.

Not sure where you were raised but we had some pretty good school lunches. I mention the only problem I ever had with Michelle and you break into a diatribe.

I understand the message you are trying to convey, and I believe that a shutdown of businesses for 6 weeks (outside of NYC) was an overreaction. However, there is one flaw to your argument. Not everyone in a high risk category for severe illness after contracting the Coronavirus is within 20 years of certain death. People can easily live much longer than that with preexisting conditions such as asthma, diabetes and mild emphysema... or even with a compromised immune system such as AIDS.
