Probably because it wasn’t too long ago they started recruiting at the championship level and realize that if it’s a prestigious school and you have a coach that kids gravitate towards this is what happens.

Same thing we said about Clemson 4 or 5 years ago. Fans from other teams are taking notice and getting scared. Just wait until the talent starts producing on the field.

If true i find that funny because that's exactly what people thought of their 2011 Signing Class. I remember watching ESPN's NSD 2011 coverage thinking why 5 stars would want to go to Clemson as they were coming off a 6-7 season with a loss to SOUTH FLORIDA in their bowl game. Come NSD 2011, they land 4 5 star players... And 2 or 3 of them announced on ESPN. Meanwhile, this past season, we finished 8-5, ended the season on a 6 game winning streak, and actually beat a Power-5 school in a bowl game. So if Clemson can recruit like that in 2011 considering their losing record in 2010, then the University of Tennessee sure as hell can recruit similar, if not better, than that now.
