I saw an article that said that masks will become the new condom, considered the new societal norm and indispensable. People will have to adjust to less shaking of hands and hugging in social situations. The world has changed and so will sporting events with distancing and sanitation.

Oh yeah, right. Eric Grey breaks a 45 yard TD run against Florida and I'm not going to high five everybody around me? Probably need to take baggies of Clorox wipes with me to ballgames.

Careful there. We don’t know but what farts can spread the virus too.

Need a creative way to get beer 🍺 to my mouth without lifting my mask 100 times! GBO!!

I’m sure someone will come up with something. Maybe one of those hardhats with the beer cans attached to the sides with a tube running through a port in the mask. Send me $200 and I’ll see what I can do. Lol

Funnels also worked while I was a UT student. A lot of funneling...

Yeah, I don’t see it happening either. It will have to return as close to normal as possible. Will be interesting tho to see if they check the temp of everyone as they enter the stadium. Hopefully we will be in a lot better shape by August and Sept

Ive changed my stance a bit on this. I’m leaning more toward herd immunity these days. Just open everything back up. Sure, COVID-19 cases will increase but the vast majority will be mild or symptomless and all those people will have newly acquired antibodies moving forward. We’ve got to get back to normal life at some point.

We need more people like you to stand up and be the grown up in the room

Since it's new, some reports say having it once doesn't mean immunity brother. Now, that's just some research. Its early. So you may volunteer to get it, then get it again like the flu.

Amen brother. I have advocated this from the begining. Having healthy people shelter in place only prolongs the issue. The more healthy people that catch it and gain immunities the less of a risk the vulnerable population has because there will be less potential carriers out there. It's common sense and basic math.

Right, there isn't a whole lot that we know about it yet. Only people with severely weakened immune systems could catch the exact same strain twice. That is true for all viruses that we know about so far. If it mutates on an annual basis then that means that it's just something that we will always have to deal with. Most think that Corona virus will not mutate like the flu or common cold and that it will just cycle through in a few years and will mostly be a bad memory.

On another note; shelter in place orders violate the 1st, 5th, and 14th amendments, so they will be toast soon anyways.

Switch to Jack Daniel’s. The 100 ml bottle is so convenient. I guarantee you can turn it up only once per bottle. Keep them on ice, combine that with being thirsty you’ll be on number 4 quicker than you would think.

As for drinking beers, get the tall boys and chugalug. Anything other than a mug out of the freezer to keep your beer cold is wrong. Beer was made to chug cold. I’ve only had a few good beers over the years, none of them ever had a chance to get warm waiting for me to finish. Baling hay(The square kind.(They are really rectangle and obsolete for the most part. (What bout the round bales of cotton?))), I wasn’t young enough to drive the tractor, I wasn’t in charge, so I was the one throwing them on the trailer. Yep, best beer ever.

No way am I wearing a mask into a 102,000 thousand people packed stadium with East Tennessee humidity.

Masks shouldn't be necessary. Just take temps with the Hand Held Temp Gun, If you are positive you WILL have an elevated Temp. (Regardless of what the WHO Propaganda says)

What bunch of pointy-headed academics came up with the title for these guidelines? Hopefully not UT professors, although they are more than capable. Can't you just say something simple like "Guidelines for Re-opening Sports" Why does everything have to have some element of "social" built into it - socialization/ social justice / social distancing? Why not just straight up say "socialism" and quit beating around the bush. With Socialism - we'll get all of the guidelines we every wanted - "Core Principals of Resocialization of the Forward Pass" or "Core Principals of Resocilization for Bringing Forward Tax-deffered Items from the Previous Tax Year", etc. etc. This will be the new standard and every core principal will have "social" built into it. "Guidelines for Social Responsibility and Social Distancing while Singing Rocky Top." Enough of this stupidity. And yes - I need more coffee and more Irish Whiskey - stat.
