โI think Gen. Michael Flynn is a patriotic American who served with great distinction in the armed forces,โ Pence told reporters. โIโm deeply troubled by the revelations of what appears to have been investigative abuse by officials in the Justice Department and we are going to continue to look into that very carefully.โSo he was cleared by the FBI boogeyman but somehow the narrative by the Flynn crowd is it's still their fault he lied to Pence?

Asked if Flynn was appropriately fired, Pence didnโt answer directly but said: โI know what Gen. Flynn told me and Iโm more inclined to believe it was unintentional than ever before.โ
I'm not making excuses for lying if he did. But it's clear this was a fishing expedition to find him guilty of something he wasn't. The media so wanted this to be true, they just jump all over it like sharks circling blood in the water.

You may be "cool with it" but i have serious reservations about federal agents trying to trick someone into a lie instead of using evidence of a crime to prosecute. Ultimately they should've interviewed him without bias. Instead they went in with an axe to grind.Law enforcement does it ALL the time, from you local cops to the feds. Not only is it OK to lie to suspects to get them to step on their dicks, it's SOP.
Ultimately, however - it's up to the person to you know, not lie.
