2020 Presidential Race

A campaign's viability comes with exposure and having a national presence. That was never a problem for the reality/game show host.
I dont disagree which is why I keep saying Amash needs to be playing the 2024 game here.

Imo in this situation the best way to do that is to shock the system somehow. And I think that's a different campaign than making runs at the populace.

Although hyperbolic, he makes a good point. Many Biden voters (like me) will be motivated not by having Biden but by NOT having Trump.

Exactly. This whole "voter enthusiasm" polling is nonsense. A person's motive behind their vote is irrelevant. You don't have to explain your vote after you have made it. You just have to vote. Whether a voter is motivated to vote through finding inspiration with one candidate, or that voter is motivated to vote through disgust with another is meaningless. It only matters that the voter is motivated to vote... and actually does it.

He won't and a main reason is because the 2 parties control the debates and polls. If someone gets close they'll change the rules

I hope he has a plan to reach the voters, then. Another 3rd party choice who garners less than 5% of the vote doesn't get us anywhere.

This year's presidential election isn't about Joe Biden. Yes, Joe Biden's name will be on the ballot, but this election is a referendum on the presidency of Donald Trump and specifically, Donald Trump's leadership during a time of crisis.

... and Joe Biden is not a weaker candidate than John Kerry was in 2004. No way.

I think that last sentence is debatable at best and I think you know it. John Kerry was bad but he had all of his faculties. We would not want Joe Biden as President of the University of Tennessee for fear of failure.

I've seen some of your posts on the sports boards Bowl and I'm honestly surprised you try to pull this BS.

No its not. Voter apathy is at an all time high. Hatred for Trump won't be enough to get the the occasional left wing voter out of the hood to vote for Pedo Joe.

Only to fringe left wingers. Your party has alienated large portions of it with Biden. And of course the minority turnout for an old senile White guy is going to be low low low.
Once again... I disagree. Every indication is that minority support for Biden will be very strong. This is Barack Obama's Vice President after all. The minority turnout for Biden was strong in the South Carolina and Michigan primaries. He cleaned house with the black vote.

...and Joe Biden is obviously not a fringe candidate. He has the nomination of the party because the Democratic Party establishment insisted on him. Bernie Sanders was the fringe candidate... and he never had a chance of getting the nomination. The establishment wasn't going to let that happen.

So? Hes an old White guy who likes touching kids. After he is humiliated during the debates apathy will sweep through the left like a cleansing fire. Zero energy. When campaigning starts you're going to see low energy crowds and old White people cheering him on half assed. I'd say by September yall will finally understand its a lost cause and give us your "Im leaving America" speeches.

Wow... your opinions are so heavily tainted with bias, it's hard to take you seriously. Biden carried the black vote by overwhelming margins during the Democratic Party Primaries. And Trump isn't articulate enough as a speaker to win a debate. If you are impressed with childish antics such as pejorative name-calling and petty personal insults, you might approve of Trump's debating skills. If you expect substantive responses to policy questions, then Trump isn't giving you much during a debate.

Have you watched Biden try and formulate a coherent sentence lately? He's in worse shape than Pelosi is.

Then at worst... it's a draw with Trump. I know you guys like to think that Trump is some master orator... he's not.
Oh I agree Trump is far from a master orator, but he still has his mental faculties and Biden doesn't. How anyone could vote for Biden based on his VP selection is beyond me because he won't make it a year before he can't hold office due to his mental state.

Have you seen Biden lately? he can't speak coherently in simple interviews where he has "prepped" for the questions. He performed just as Hillary did, but worse in places with massive minority populations like California. Every time Biden gets on camera he says something more crazy than Trump. Voter apathy is going to be massive. Or as Biden would put it, "Voter acumen is going to be intersexually passive oh look a child to nibble on!".

Democrat turnout has been dropping since 2008. A small bump in some states but none of consequence. Its been on the decline in most states, especially the ones with large minority populations.

If you want to place all your faith in far too early to tell polls during a pandemic go for it but you are just setting yourself up for disappointment. I'd suggest concentrating on 2024.

Tell Biden the red button shoots ice cream cones to the Chinese and he will believe it.

So to you dems, you all are now good to vote for someone accused of sexual assault. I want a yes or no answer. We need to get you radical loons on the record.

Yes, I will vote for Biden, who has been accused of, but has denied, grabbing a woman by the p**sy, over a man who has outright bragged about it on tape and has been accused of much worse by multiple women. Not even close if those are the two options.
