Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

He sure is. I saw him at the BIJOU theater years ago in Knoxville on a comedy/spoken word tour. The guy is funny as he!! And really intelligent. After the show was over, he talked about the old punk scene with me and my friends for about 30 minutes.
Is he still hitting the gym? Dude looked like a middle linebacker back in the 90s.

That dang bill of rights is always getting in the way.

Even if you made it a voluntary option, you'd have some takers. Some is better than none. You could probably increase participation by financially incentivizing it.

The desire for herd immunity to open the economy back up is the goal. Some want to open the economy back up to achieve herd immunity. Understandable since it's our only option absent a vaccine. The question is how to do it without overloading the system while keeping our supply chains intact. Give it a month and we will have a clearer picture.
Our supply chain will not last another month of this.

Tyson chicken on the big end has already been faced with difficulties. A ton of the mid range guys are already running out of widgets, and the small have bern shut down just due to the sick and limitations on testing and PPE.

This fall food is going to be expensive and much less abundant.

I highly doubt the U.S. would adopt isolation in a facility. I am shocked though that many people I see choose not to wear a mask in public places. Sure, people can do what they want. It seems many Americans feel that wearing a mask when you go out is a stigma but in reality, you are providing protection to yourself and others around you.

I agree with you but many posters here do not, as well as the general population from what I saw yesterday.

Other than an N95 mask, masks don't protect you they only help protect the sick from spreading it to you.

Lots of sick folks in big cities with roommates/partners would take a hotel room with free WiFi, three hot delivered meals a day, and a 60 inch TV in a heartbeat over their crappy cramped apartment.
