The same could be said when Gary Barnett won back to back Big 10 titles and had Northwestern in the Top 10 for two seasons. Ask Colorado how happy they are they snatched him up.
Wow, it only took him into his ninth year to cobble together a defense. Let's snatch him up now. Some of you guys are forgetting one thing about Leach and the job he's done at Texas Tech. IT'S IN LUBBOCK TEXAS!!! Have you ever seen Lubbock or even been there? Its worse than Starkville. For him to get players like Harrell and Crabtree speaks volumes for Leach as a recruiter. Not to mention he finally has something that resembles a defense this year. He would be awesome for our program.
Simple. You're babbling on about Leach's last two seasons. When this season is over, Leach will have one season in nine where he has lost fewer than 3 games. This one. Has he done a respectable job? Sure. Has he done anything to remotely warrant getting a job like Tennessee? No damn way?um, Gary Barnett average 5 wins per year and couldn't even coach his team to a bowl game 5 out of 7 seasons so I'm not sure why you're hung up on the Leach/Barnett connection
Oh no not at all...Your right...I mean gee whiz, He's only beaten Texas this year who was only ranked #1 in the country and Oh I am sure you'll say they are over rated or TT was lucky and oh yeah seeing as how they have beaten OU 2 out of the past 3 years I suppose they were lucky there too huh?..Hahaha!...Yeah...They really suck with those below average recruits they have on the team that Leach is turning into heisman trophy candidates...Yeah, He can't develop talent...Nope not at allbottom line is that Leach has proven, in a talent rich area, that he can't recruit with the big boys and can't really play with the big boys.

whoa now. I live in Fayettenam and love it.No, I just disregarded it. Houston Nutt recruited well enough to Fayettenam, Arkansas to get teams to the SEC Championship game multiple times. Until this season, Leach hasn't sniffed a shot at the Big 12 title game.
remind me what he's won again. Are you actually referring to individual games as career defining for the man. That should give you a proper answer about whether we want him at UT.Oh no not at all...Your right...I mean gee whiz, He's only beaten Texas this year who was only ranked #1 in the country and Oh I am sure you'll say they are over rated or TT was lucky and oh yeah seeing as how they have beaten OU 2 out of the past 3 years I suppose they were lucky there too huh?..Hahaha!...Yeah...They really suck with those below average recruits they have on the team that Leach is turning into heisman trophy candidates...Yeah, He can't develop talent...Nope not at all![]()
Yeah, what is Leach's career record against OU and Texas? I'm sure it's really good.
