Can never have enough quality linemen on either side of the ball. Just gotta love going into the bad guys backyard and getting him to commit.

Darryl Taylor being drafted in the 2nd round if the NFL Draft has something to do with this timing and commitment.
He was a second rounder after (nobody knew but the team) having played all season injured. Imagine if he had been healthy.

He was actually a ways down the board, until GM's found out he played hurt all year. They went back and rewatched his film...and the rest is now history.

Brooks is the No. 18-ranked recruit overall out of Handley High School in Roanoke, Alabama. He is the No. 1 prospect in the state. It's a massive commitment for Jeremy Pruitt and his staff to be able to reel in the No. 4 defensive end, and it's a bonus that Brooks is a top-25 prospect and one of the elite recruits from Alabama. Tennessee now has five recruits committed in the 2021 class from Alabama, including ESPN Junior 300 receiver Jordan Mosley.

it makes you wonder. Why are we doing so well in Bama? I am sure Pruitt still has a lot of connections in that state but even with that I have to wonder if this is more evidence Saban and his reign of dominance is slowly coming to an end. I think recruits are starting to wonder if Saban will be there in four years.

Dude theres like 9 months until signing day. I'm sure we'll sign some more people

I realize that and you’re right, we’ll pick up some studs I’m sure. But why is this staff extending offers to a bunch of 3* players with below average offer lists? We have commits from more than a handful of players with multiple offers from directional schools and maybe one other bottom feeder SEC school on their offer list.

There is a lot of time left. By the time winter rolls around some of those 3 stars might be 4 stars with multiple SEC offers
