Agree we need to overachieve but the East is a huge ask. Would be beyond overachieving.

I think we're likely 7-5 but 9-3 (stealing one of OU/UF/UGA/BAMA and sweeping everyone else) would be yuge.

Getting another big recruit and then if our QB commits May 10 it should help with peer recruiting. Last year we got Bailey on early but we could just never lock down any other big names early.

Winning the East isn’t out of the realm.

UF has had a ton of attrition from their 18 class and that is what’s supposed to be the core of their team this year. We play them at home.

UGA has to completely rebuild their OL and they have a grad transfer QB who won’t have the benefit of practicing with the team this spring.

We play Alabama at home after they’ve played seven games straight.

I mean, it’s not a given and sure we face an uphill climb but if we surprise a MF’er or two, we could be in Atlanta.

I would’ve loved to see Bituli getting a UDFA contract, and i have hopes it still happens. But all in all, with DT going higher than I anticipated and both Calloway and Jennings ending up in places they likely can excel at... plus landing the #1 player from Alabama.... I have to say this has been a great Vol weekend.

I like it that the UGA game is mid November. Not saying we'll win it but it gives us a better chance with the younger players maturing, cause I'm thinking we're going to keep seeing younger kids on the field in certain positions.
