I believe that's the information that he will get from the NBA. One more year with Barnes and he could really make a move with the NBA.

There must be something going on with JJ that is not being reported. It's hard to believe that every team took a hard pass on him. Something just doesn't smell right.

I don't think so. JJ was never going to impress at the combine and this was a WR heavy draft. Outside of the conference, people see a mediocre WR with discipline issues. We can say 'just watch him' all we want to but our opinions don't matter and no one wants to take a risk on someone they think might be a role player at best. I think JJ is an absolute steal as does everyone else that has seen him at crucial moments in games, including opposing fans, but the NFL is analyzing tape that's disconnected from those big moments.

Dunno why anyone is upset that Warrior and Calloway didn’t get drafted.....

Warrior struggled the beginning of last season and has never been completely consistent. He finished the year well though. He is a solid pick up for UFA.

Also, Calloway was supposed to be our big go to target last year and he under produced. He has trouble getting separation the entire year. Is he a great receiver? Of course he is, but last year he left a lot to be desired. He will also be a good UFA pickup.

The guy y’all should be worried about is Daniel Bituli. That man deserved to get drafted, period. He has proven his consistency as a LB year in and year out and already had Elite NFL ready size.

Callaway was tied for 5th in the nation for yards per reception. That is pretty good for a guy that struggles to get separation. You would think NFL scouts would stop undervaluing our guys at some point.

I think I read somewhere that almost half of the NFL leaders last year at WR were UDFA. Wonder if that’s really accurate.

Callaway was tied for 5th in the nation for yards per reception. That is pretty good for a guy that struggles to get separation. You would think NFL scouts would stop undervaluing our guys at some point.

He got his spot with the Saints which is a great fit for him. He will be a great receiver in the pros.

I watched him in person (from Field level during the Army/Navy game) he was the team on offense. Only fitting he made it to the pros. Kid is a monster.

No you can’t. But it wasn’t that Butch didn’t take Lawrence. It was the other way around.

But Butch would have won games with Lawrence (just not a title that Lawrence won). Butch wasn’t great at development, but Lawrence is better than JG and Dormady and would have covered up Butch’s issues.
