Hey ladies and gents....gonna get a little emotional here. Today is my first born, Sutton, birthday. He turns 5 today. Many of you that have been members of this board probably remember all the complications he had that started a few days after his birth as I tried to keep everyone posted during that hectic time.
As I reflect on those few weeks he was in the NICU....and how initially doctors said he would probably have permanent brain damage or also finding out later how close he came to dying. It was the toughest most painful thing I've ever went through in my life.
But...that moment in time not only brought me closer to Christ but also made me realize that there are some pretty damn good people on here and just want to thank you all for your thought and prayers during that time 5 years ago.
A lot has changed since then...my beautiful and amazing wife and I have 3 kids now and recently just adopted our first family pet. So life is good. As for Sutton....he has never shown any signs of complications from that time. He is a healthy....smart (so smart it's scary) and so energetic. He loves being a big brother to his sister, Braelyn, and brother, Sawyer. Happy birthday buddy and thanks to everyone on this board. Good people.
