I wouldn’t count him out yet, he’s a baller and if they coach him up and get him in the weight room he could win the starting job over JG if Pruitt will give him a chance.

If Shrout doesn’t throw across his body, I don’t see Maurer beating him out. Shrout had no interceptions thrown last year (except 1 but it was negated by roughing the passer), Shrout takes better care of the ball then Maurer but both are good QBs. Either way Bailey is going to start at some point he is just too talented to keep off the field.

I believe traits like character and desire have to be in the equation. Pruitt and Chaney seem to require it more so than Kirby and others who only care about a star ranking.
I believe it's the culture, similar to Butch's program. Fields lights up the opening, barely threw a incomplete pass. Goes to UGA and looks like he's never attempted a forward pass in his life. Transfers to tOSU and tosses like 50 tds and 1 pick in his first season. Culture man, it's real. I like Smart at UGA though, they get to celebrate and pound their chest on Feb 7th when all the signing day superlatives articles come out. But make up excuses why they are playing a second fiddle Big 12 team come every bowl season.

Dang i can barely stand on mine. Feels like it is going to dislocate on me sometimes. It partially did when it first happened. Mine was old injury, a car wreck backed when I was 16. Had no trouble with it till now. Mine snapped in my sleep when I was flipping over. Doctor said it is common and it happened to him. Sucks man I can't use a clutch on a big truck now, my job, scared it might dislocate on me. I hope I can see a surgeon soon. Hope yours gets better too mane.
Where are you located? We have a top of the line Ortho surgeon here in Lebanon that started doing joint surgeries again this week. Did my hip replacement as a matter of fact robotically. High percentage of his patients even come from out of state.

I'd take @utvols88 over JG. Give me anyone else.

You ruin jokes but Gif placement has been on point

To me it has been one of saddest periods in Vol history at QB. It rivals Phil's last year or so. I've never seen a 4th year QB get the deer in the headlights look nearly every game like him no matter what school they played for. Even if he could have been taught to do the two looks and run stuff of Dobbs as a freshman or Tee it would have been better than what we keep seeing. I don't want to lose another season of my Vol fandom to it.

88 will do fine even without the coffee.

Titans with a great pick at #93. Evans is lightning. Played well against the better competition. Excellent in the return and passing games. Hope they can find a good developmental DL still available in the fifth round.

Hey ladies and gents....gonna get a little emotional here. Today is my first born, Sutton, birthday. He turns 5 today. Many of you that have been members of this board probably remember all the complications he had that started a few days after his birth as I tried to keep everyone posted during that hectic time.

As I reflect on those few weeks he was in the NICU....and how initially doctors said he would probably have permanent brain damage or also finding out later how close he came to dying. It was the toughest most painful thing I've ever went through in my life.

But...that moment in time not only brought me closer to Christ but also made me realize that there are some pretty damn good people on here and just want to thank you all for your thought and prayers during that time 5 years ago.

A lot has changed since then...my beautiful and amazing wife and I have 3 kids now and recently just adopted our first family pet. So life is good. As for Sutton....he has never shown any signs of complications from that time. He is a healthy....smart (so smart it's scary) and so energetic. He loves being a big brother to his sister, Braelyn, and brother, Sawyer. Happy birthday buddy and thanks to everyone on this board. Good people.

Wonder how @InVOLuntary plans on ruining this?

I wasn't a member then, but thanks for sharing a great, uplifting story. Sounds like you have a great and wonderful family!

So happy for you. I remember that time. Can't believe it was five years ago. Seems like just a year ago.

A very handsome young man, and thankful he is doing well. But what the heck? You are decked out in orange and he is not wearing a stitch of orange? C'mon, Dad.

This is probably a good move for them. Those picks that they gave up are so far down the draft board that they have very little chance of making an NFL roster.
I watched Sean Payton’s explanation of why they did it and it has something to do with a point system that they use for their draft and looking at the roster they only have a few spots open. So, my first thought was WTF but after looking at everything it made more sense. Still wish we had 1 more pick. We need a CB and a WR, imo.
