Yes, but that does not mean you design your study to be crap as they did in LA.

I'm utterly amazed at the clear biases everywhere. Virtually every piece of information coming out everywhere seems to have an agenda....on both sides. I'm conservative, but I am not a Trump apologist, but neither do I have TDS. I'll credit what he's done well and criticize what he done poorly, and there's plenty of both. I don't watch TV news of any kind. I'm just trying to piece together the best truth I can based on my understanding of the problem. If there is a valid study that proves that the mortality is much lower, it's great news and I'm happy. But just because people say it is so doesn't make it so, and I've never before seen a time when so many people observing the same things arrive at such different conclusions.

And I will be the first to admit the drawn out nature of this is the worst part for me. I literally had like five days of feeling better and it came back. Fatigue and headaches remain the worst part of my experience. After a three day slide I feel 85% better today... just a little weak. We will see if this is finally the climb out of the whole or false hope
Are you sure you have it? Did you get tested?

Edit: Asked and answered.

Governors took the lead and did a good job.....hmmmmmm I'm very curious to which governors you claim took the lead on this thing and did a good job.

Not surprising that there's a certain group of people who are constantly praising Gov Cuomo and insulting Pres Trump. Gov Cuomo was taking the same tack and saying the same kind of things as Pres Trump early on, Gov Cuomo even later I believe. If one was not taking the lead then neither was. Again not surprisingly, that group who love to throw the insults at Pres Trump just don't want to see their hypocrisy. They live to criticize him every chance they see, even when there's nothing to see, and even when their own heroes are as guilty or worse. Oh, what a life.

The so-called scientists that did the California studies that has everyone convinced cases are 50x underreported got absolutely ripped over their shoddy science. You're right, I'm not an epidemiologist, but it doesn't take a particularly bright person to see the problems in their assumptions.

Yet some were all in on that expert in the UK who said the US could have 2.2 mil deaths from this. Never mind his faulty assumptions or poor past predictions.

Cuomo, yeah the dems love to tout Cuomo for what a wonderful job he has done. And yeah, he was also claiming NY was safe and prepared. And he was the 1st gov. begging for ventilators, PPE, etc, etc. Trump, FEMA, the National Guard and the military saved his and DeBlasio's asses. And don't forget the thousands of volunteers who risked their own health to go there and help.
At least Cuomo has publicly credited and thanked Trump and the fed. govt for the help. But if he was the great leader the dems like to claim, he would have had his state more prepared than it was, especially since 9-11 and NYC being a major international city and major target for any terroist attacks.

You will never ever get the proof you want about Covid-19 before you will accept the truth. We are never going to test enough people in enough places, and the data will never be clean.

I believe what common sense tells me, that in some tightly packed areas like in Italy, and the New York city area, they had/have extremely high infection rate of the total population.

Money guys have been affected and their actual businesses come first. Airplanes have not been flying as much. TIFWIW
No wonder that recruiting is so meh right now. You would know that if something is going to have a bad effect on some schools recruiting..it will effect us the worst.

It's hard for me to get very excited at all regarding recruiting right now. It's like Coach Mathews and Tony Barnhart were discussing Sat. morning about verbal commitments right now under the current situation. They basically both said any players currently "commited could be taken with a grain of salt and didn't mean jack squat, regardless of school. I tend to agree.

Here’s an interesting thought....

All programs have some back door recruit support staff (ahem)

Depending on where their finances are tied up during this pandemic, loss of income, and even the order (and failure or success) of opening up states... this is going to have an impact on recruiting we will never know about outside of the NSD results.

For example, let’s just say 75% of Florida’s money guys are instate, and the pandemic was drawn out there longer than other places, there would be loss of resources to share with recruits but if Georgia and Tennessee open up first, and their money guys are theoretically within those borders, they would have an advantage

I personally think Cuomo really botched this one. Not a fan of Trump, either.
