The world has got to restart..
There has to be a starting point, as scary as it is for us all. Southern states make the most sense. Even living here, I’m on the fence, rip off the band-aid, no worse than where are, hope for herd immunity, but we have to live. Otherwise, we’re not living if we aren’t fighting to.

Lol the feeling is mutual, buddy.

Can’t wait for your next rant calling the head coach an inbred Bammer because he wouldn’t take some pictures. But I’m sure you’ll walk it back.

Also the fact you see Fauci as opposition to Trump is about as telling as it gets.
There’s a pretty good chance Fauci is opposition

I’m glad to be the guinea pig. Let’s do this. I’ll shake hands with anyone and, gasp!, won’t bother with hand sanitizer

Please stay away from my business. We don't want you around if you're that reckless.

The President this evening said it is "too soon" for Georgia to do this and that he "seriously disagreed" with the decision. So Georgia's governor better be right, he's not going to get any cover if he's wrong.

I’m not going to live my life in fear of a mild flu

I'm married to a teacher as well. They certainly seem to be planning for school to resume in August. I'm not sure most of rural Tennessee has the infrastructure in place to provide effective tele-education. My fear for amateur sports being cancelled extends to kid's sports as well. I do fear for our kids' sports activities, other than ones you can play at a distance (golf, tennis).

Travel baseball will be played by end of may to early June unless things turn to the worse quickly. TSSAA, who knows. Doesn’t seem they will let some areas play and others not. All play or else. I understand fairness in competitive balance. However, just let the kids play if it’s safe in the areas it’s safe. If not then don’t.

I’ll throw this out there because I can’t be the only one (and we’ll see how long it sticks!)...

I’ve always been conservative and voted in every election for which I’m eligible. What I’ve observed over these past 25-30 years is that for me personally, and the lives of me and my family, it doesn’t matter very much who controls Congress and/or who is the president. And the extremely overwhelming majority of all of them are despicable. Both sides disgust me. So, this will be the first time that I will not vote. As I mentioned, I’m pretty conservative (both fiscally and socially, but probably more so fiscally), but I’m ashamed of who I voted for in 2016 and I won’t do it again.

All that to say that it’s so stupid to bring politics into the virus debate. We aren’t going to know for quite some time who was right or wrong, and even then all the data will be slanted to the authors political leaning.

I will say that, as a resident of Georgia and having a wife and child in an “at risk” category, I think it’s incredibly dumb for Kemp to be going into Phase 1 recovery this soon. Don’t the guidelines say that you have to have a reliable 14-day trend of declining cases? We are nowhere near that...I’m not even sure we have a 7-day declining trend, since there are still cases from the past several days that haven’t been reported yet.

/rant...I hoped that would make me feel better but it didn’t. 😞

Atlanta and surrounding area and Albany and those close to them, no on opening. The rest should be fine.

It was more than that but as long as he wins I don’t care. But Coach did take pictures. Coach Phil Fulmer that is. Also, CJP’s mom was pissed too. Just so you know. Kid had spina bifida so at least his dad got to enjoy going to a game with his son in a midfield skybox.

And yet, you are an engineer so not an epidemiologist. Just saying. Some epidemiologist say this is very positive but the engineer saids quotes Lee Corso.

The so-called scientists that did the California studies that has everyone convinced cases are 50x underreported got absolutely ripped over their shoddy science. You're right, I'm not an epidemiologist, but it doesn't take a particularly bright person to see the problems in their assumptions.

I hope you know I really like you. But, all of these epidemiologist are making assumptions. The models they are using are assumption based.

I find it ridiculous that everyone is ignoring the fact that the “World Health Organization” state’s in January that there is nothing to worry about. The WHO should be held accountable for this false information, and I’m glad Trump is threatening funding to the organization.

The WHO and Media also tried to give this administration a hard time about not taking The COVID-19 testing kits from China. Which turned out to have many false positive results and everyone was going nuts over there not being enough tests, well guess what..... we are the only country who has a 15min test. To make the test it took a little time and the current administration relaxed regulations in order for this and multiple vaccines/human testing to be possible.

I also, find it funny that anyone listens to Nancy Pelosi, who stated Trump was wrong for posting a travel ban. There were no repercussions for her for suggested that the travel ban shouldn’t happen and that the President was cruel and a racist, yet if the President wouldn’t of went ahead and done the travel ban could you imagine how much flak he would have taken? Give me a break.
Please stop talking common sense and facts, you are going to make the liberals mad! They know better how to run your life than you do!

As far as the 2020 class goes, the narrative seems to be:

We are out on Zach Evans

Want JT Daniels

"No room" for Chase Hayden (despite room for the 2 above)

Sounds like we either land Daniels or another late transfer, or are done with 2020.

I don’t totally disagree. Just don’t think a quick restart does any good.

We’re all in favor of rescuing the economy, I just think we’ll do much more harm if this thing spikes again and we have to close down again. But maybe it won’t.
It will spike again no matter when you do it in the next year+...

I really believe that most people have been under the false impression that we have done this to "stop" the virus, and whose fault that is I don't know for sure, at least not in other places around the country. But I actually have heard my idiot blowhard jackass governor say that word a million times the last few weeks in his daily broadcast. So maybe it is idiots like him in authority that is causing this fundamental misunderstanding of the situation everywhere.

I do know we cannot outwait this virus...it hasn't went anywhere, and it sure ain't going anywhere. No vaccine or miracle cure is coming, and we have to get on about living. There is an abundance of quality education now about how to slow the spread as individuals, and that will help tremendously.

We also have to continue to severely restrict access to nursing homes and other such gathering places for our elderly loved ones until there is a viable vaccine.

Hospitals and clinics though of all kinds, not just abortion clinics..have got to get going again, some of the things they have been calling "elective" would blow your freakin mind...the suffering they have caused sone people by doing that is almost criminal.

I listened to Kemp today, and he made a lot of sense to me. Maybe it is a little quick, a few days too early, but I hope not.

Interesting thing happened I'm my neighborhood today. I was off work and sleeping in. My wife comes in and wakes me up laughing hysterically.

She was walking down our dirt culdesac road off the main road. She hears a guys voice going "ouch, ahh, ouch" so sh turns and sees a butt naked guy running from behind a neighbor's house, across the road, into another neighbor's yard...junk swinging as he runs. He runs up the hill where the neighbor's septic tank is buried, turns left and follows a wood fence behind their house.

I get up and we go walking to the area(a few hundred feet from our house) and all our neighbors are outside watching the cops pin this naked tweaker down, cuff him and drive him away. Our neighborhood is a mixture of some families and a bunch of retirees.

One of the neighbors had camera footage of him sneaking around their property, gets on their golf cart and trying to steal it..

A bunch of old ladies on golf carts keep riding up asking to see the video of the "d*ck swinger". It was hilarious and disturbing at the same time. Glad no kids were outside playing and got traumatized....FL people man, they're all nuts (pun intended).

Cats (literal) are getting it in NY now. Imagine your cat goes for a walk and brings it in after mingling with another infected cat.

Over time, everyone is going to get this
Everybody was always going to get it once it got out of China...but at least we slowed it down to a manageable level...which was and is crucial.
