So, now you're an Oklahoma fan?To add on to what @BaldBiker was saying in the Junior Colson thread, I've noticed something while working retail.
Younguns these days don't have the in-state loyalty.
But you don't see a self-respecting boomer wearing no damn bama shirt, I can always get a conversation going about UT with them, unlike the zoomers
inb4 ok boomer-zoomer
Here is the link to listen on UTsports if anyone wants it.I did and enjoyed every min. of it. Spent the better part of the day transplanting a few shrubs, then going to pick up and then delivering a freezer I obtained for my son and daughter in law. Listened to the game on the radio for the 1st time actually. Saw it many times on the tv but never had heard the radio broadcast til today. Reminded me in a way to my youth when just about every game was on radio before there were multiple tv stations carrying college football games.
I am a five jump chump Lol. Went to jump school in 85. Still one of by best memories. I got dogged out so bad because I was an ROTC cadet. I wouldn't trade that time for anything.I’ve jumped her. As well as the new T-11.
Personally I liked the T-10 you could actually maneuver that thing.... the T-11 doesn’t go anywhere you want it to lol.
I got out of the military about 4 years ago now.
Have you ever had X-Rays of your lumbar spine? I would guess that you already have some arthritic changes present. (I have had arthritis in my lumbar spine documented in my late 20s) Would contribute to your pain, especially with tight hip girdle muscles...I’m only 30. Im in what I’d call decent shape. I’m definitely a little bigger then I was 3 years ago. I’ve played sports my whole life and jumped out of airplanes for a living for 5 years. So..... probably somewhere in between there I assume I’ve messed some stuff up. Thanks for the suggestions. I did yoga a while back and no joke it helped a lot of things guess I’ll have to get back into it.
I just don't understand how anyone chooses to move to Gainesville. Do you hate yourself or something?
You had me up until you called Gainesville "a decent town". After that lie, I had to question the veracity of your entire statement.Wife's family is from N. Fla. Her mother was dying of COPD, wanted to be closer to family and the Knoxville air was killing her faster. I loved my wife(then girlfriend) enough to leave Knoxville so she could be near her for her final couple years. Gainesville was the closest decent sized town and I couldn't live in Brantford, Alachua, Live Oak, etc.
If you take away the hatred for the gators then Gainesville is a decent town... especially if you are 20 years old, like to party and enjoy seeing beautiful women everywhere.
The end of chapter 7 of Gainesvol's life. Up next is "Marriage & Kids: When The Party Stops and You Move To NC"
