Find someone who can check all your hip girdle muscles, biggest culprit of isolated back pain. Most docs don’t even check.
If your state allows PT visits without a doctor’s order, start with a PT. Ask them to specifically check the hip girdle muscles
Gluteus maximus and medius
Piriformis
Hamstrings
Iliopsoas
Rectus femoris
Hip adductors
Hip Abductors

In the current environment, you can do an online search for stretches for these muscles. If you don’t have full range of motion with the stretch, then key on that tight muscle.

Also look for muscles that are tight on one side versus the other. The spine is like a suspension bridge, if one side has higher tension, the bridge is unsafe. If muscles are tighter on one side, easier for injuries to happen.

How old are you? Facet arthritis in the low back is a major culprit, especially with tight muscles and a belly.

a big belly can really affect the spine as well. For each excess belly pound, it’s 6 lbs of forward force on the spine. Puts the spine in an abnormal position with just about any activity.

I hope that some of this helps. I will try to catch any replies.

I also really recommend the inversion tables. Used to have one in my office (gave it to a patient that needed it more than I did)

Yoga is also a mainstay in my recommendations. Great way to attain and maintain flexibility. Also a great core strengthening exercise.

I’m only 30. Im in what I’d call decent shape. I’m definitely a little bigger then I was 3 years ago. I’ve played sports my whole life and jumped out of airplanes for a living for 5 years. So..... probably somewhere in between there I assume I’ve messed some stuff up. Thanks for the suggestions. I did yoga a while back and no joke it helped a lot of things guess I’ll have to get back into it.

Maybe you should have used a parachute, probably a little easier on the body.

Anyone else listen to the Fiesta bowl replay on the radio today? It was cool hearing John Ward on the car radio again.
I did and enjoyed every min. of it. Spent the better part of the day transplanting a few shrubs, then going to pick up and then delivering a freezer I obtained for my son and daughter in law. Listened to the game on the radio for the 1st time actually. Saw it many times on the tv but never had heard the radio broadcast til today. Reminded me in a way to my youth when just about every game was on radio before there were multiple tv stations carrying college football games.

Despite wanting to bulldoze the other 2 each and every year, my year goes way much better when We can bitch stomp the gaturds. For the most part they have owned us since the early 90's when we became east rivals and I say my prayers every year We finally find that longevity with a coach and his squad. Once We all can get back to normalcy, I so much look forward to being back @ Neyland.
I’m 26. I’ve lived the FL pain all to well. It’s past time for us to dominate that rivalry for a decade. At this moment though, I really want Saban before he retires. I need just one over that Keebler Elf.

I moved to Gainesville the year we beat the Gators (2004 I think). I talked so much ish and then we proceeded to lose 11 years in a row. It was hell.

Dont talk anymore, even when we start winning. Talk **** about uga owning them instead, maybe that will result in both of them losing more

My PT was laughably bad. Would literally never be with me doing exercises.
Tens unit with heat, manual massage for 2 minutes, stationary bike and then abduction adduction exercises that were demonstrated once
Gotta get you out of NY,
Down to the South where docs and therapists are great! 🤔
